It's Probably a ploy not to go to war, at the moment the USA is extremely pacifistic about war now that its in 2 different countries. going to a 3rd wouldn't make popularity of war any good.
though any country who doesn't want Iran with nukes should declare war... its like the time before ww2 all over again... just without nukes
so is Iran going to use them? well unlike alot of different countries, Iran is active saying they would attack different countries, or make threats (like to the USA and Israel) additionally the fact that the government doesn't represent the people only gives reinforcement to that.
As long as they dont screw around with the environment trying to "fix" what we dont know is broken, then im happy
That is of course if im not forced to wear white everything, breath at a certain rate, exercise at certain times, eat certain foods, and other things that generate greenhouse gases (co2 and methane) im fine.
But seriously, in new york i cant stall in a car. id get a $200 fine if i did.
Speaking of climate change though, is it legal to build solar panel power plants in the US again, or is it still undergoing "environmental testing"?
"Other researchers have suggested that the ridges could increase our fingerpads' touch sensitivity."
from TFA (sorry i can figure out how to use the quote function:/)
how is this not obvious? where he have some sort of ridge like pattern (hands, feet) we have more sensitive nerves there. The ridges increase surface area of our skin which means we can feel more using up less volume
the star nosed mole is the perfect example of increased surface area for more touch sensitivity.
If someone wants a new browser they should get it themselves. Can someone explain to me why bundling IE with windows is considered to be a trust? MS doesn't charge any money for it, and it was better than Netscape when it came out, why is it all of the sudden a trust and not a trust 15 years ago?
I really REALLY want to see squaresoft (now enix) classics like FF7 and xenogears redone to for the ps3. nintendo keeps doing this and makes a profit. squareenix doesn't. I don't like the bs excuse that they wouldn't like making money over a successful game twice whether.:( It pisses me off, its also why im not getting a ps3
I'm sure many don't consider VirtualBox as a professional product, but what will oracle do with it? I have read no mention of what fate VirtualBox has under oracle (3 weeks ago, IBM).
I personally love using VirtualBox since its free and simple to use. Will it be getting the axe?
China Russia and Iran are supposedly stealing all of our secrets and technologies, why should the US be funding all of this if the rest of the world gets it free of charge(via theft)?
No more new graphics drivers updates? No new versions of.net. no chance to upgrade to IE8 (i don't believe in that though.) No new silverlight updates? No new service pack updates for office and similar programs?
Oh. But i can name you two bugs that really DO bug people. - processes that require you to force terminate after auto shutdown - Windows update doesn't work on XP, it only works on IE.
i agree that its nothing special, but i think its that MS doesn't know/doesn't feel like fixing it:/ from what i know, those two features aren't a problem in Vista

> So easy a grade-schooler could use it
The real question is:
Is it easy enough that a caveman can do it?
no because alcohol (in the blood) does not kill brain cells, it deactivates/slows them due to the poison.
now we can have nuclear handguns
:/
and forcefield generators the size of walnuts!
asimov predicted this to happen, but a couple billions years ahead of time

Tata cars have proven themselves to be unsafe for driving (no protection, and the car frame is too thin)
i wouldn't be surprised if these buildings couldn't survive 45 mph winds

that's why there is a big focus on making it "usable" for the average "i dont know a thing about computers" people
I've heard from many that rapidshare is the last place one should come to because they track the consumers. So i ask, whats new here?
