In my opinion this is much like having your CD case stolen. You wouldn't be able to call the store where you purchased the CDs and ask for new copies right?

I'm failing to see how this is a disadvantage to the new system.

You should learn about the format before jumping to conclusions.

AAC at 128 easily surpasses MP3 at 256kbit. The kbit is not a representation of quality when you are comparing between two different methods. It's a representation of size.

So basically with AAC people will be downloading files no larger than the ones they are accustomed to but the quality will be worlds better.

  16. Re:You paid to play PC games on your TV on a PC... on Xbox Live Goes Online · · Score: 1

What if my desktop PC is nowhere near powerful enough to approach the graphics quality of Xbox?

I can't afford a faster system so my Xbox is fantastic for playing games. For development, HTML work, and image editing my PC is fine but I'd much rather pay $200 for this type of experience than spend over a thousand on a new machine that could equal it.

Why are you even comparing consoles to PC in the first place? This isn't even apples vs oranges, it's more like watermelons vs tomatoes. They are two seperate and distinct entities and you can enjoy both.

Finally even if I did upgrade my PC, can I play MechAssault on that? Oh, that's right I can't.
