  1. Is it just me

Yes, just you. You can apply for a .eu TLD if you belong to the EU. UK leaves EU and cannot pretend to use a .eu domain anymore.

  2. a request to the UK to grant their new citizen diplomatic status ... It was denied

Looks quite like during the 1980's, due to Thatcher's relentlessness 10 Irish prisoners die as a result of a hunger strike.

  3. Doesn't he have data reception from his mobile phone, like us all, mortals?

  4. Would that be true or not, it became so common to just store user data, today to target advertisements ; but who can say to what purpose that data is to be used tomorrow?

-50? We have either an arithmetic error or a punctuation flaw

  8. they just pick pretentious crap like Melancholia

Anyway Netflix wouldn't stand a chance. "Crap" movies like "Melancholia" at least show innovation, and you might not like the story but acting and directing are good. Netflix is focused on "recipes that work", delivering satisfying shows like McDonald's serves food to appease hunger pangs.

  9. Look around you (after changing your heart), most non-teckies did not change at all regarding their Facebook behavior. Was a similar opinion poll conducted before the recent privacy issues, say a month ago, showing more trust towards FB?

  15. In Japan most of the people who stay late do not actually work more, they stay late to look "good", to show they dedicate their lives to the company. Is it the same in (South) Korea?

  16. But people who know they should #delete FB don't have FB in the first place.

From TFS "The results showed an accurate diagnosis in 99.38 per cent of cases". Only a (very) good pathologist would reach such a high %, thus "as well as a pathologist" should be "better than a pathologist".
