Until your "fun" is misconstrued as identify theft.
Eh? Naah, it can't be misconstrued as anything as anything. They just need to be educated to the fact that their disclaimer at the bottom of the emails are NOT legally binding on me. I never ask for anything (that could be extortion), threaten anything (same); it just gives me a free pass to be a dick to a lawyer, all because of your "same rules don't apply to us all." Since the consequences for them are so great, they should be a bit more careful....
You're nicer than I am. I had a woman in Chicago who gave my email address as hers to her day care center. One day, they sent a survey and I gave them rotten marks. I then got a horrified email saying they had no idea she was so unhappy, and to please redo the survey using new link. I did the same thing. She asked to set up a conference which I gladly obliged to. Eventually, I guess, they figured it out after "I" didn't show up for the conference.
I think I was in the 2nd wave of gmail invites so I have a fairly simple address, too, and LOTS of people with the same last name somehow use it, from a PT therapist in Oklahoma, to a guy who just got rejected for FMLA and disability because they kept on sending his paperwork to MY gmail address (and since it was from a "do not reply as this is an unmonitored mailbox even a courtesy WTF? reply wouldn't work even if I was so inclined). The best is the lawyers who mis-send legal documents. They're the ones that I have fun with. I love when they get to the point where they threaten me...until I point out that *I'm* not the one who broke privilege and I can't be sanctioned by their bar like they can. That's the point where they usually go away.
....is " ability to order food, scribble doodles and send funny images known as stickers in chats on its Messages app" a handy feature. Those of us who aren't frequently find ourselves inanely "commenting" on a text by accident. And, of course, that can't be turned off.
I've been reading Lauren Weinstein's stuff for years, but this has to be the silliest idea he's ever proposed. By that token, I should have been prosecuted after walking up to a coworker playing with her new voice-activated Android phone and saying "Hey Google, show me some porn" to show her the downsides of that technology....
...running ProDOS 3.3 on dual 3.5 floppies. When GS/OS came out it was a revelation, and I think I had a 2MB expansion card. After a bit, I spent a freaking fortune for an 80MB Seagate SCSI hard drive with a Ramfast controller.
$36 a la carte for those three channels is kinda ridiculous. At those bundled prices to all of the other streaming a la carte channels you need to pay for and you may as well stick with your cable/FIOS and at least gain the advantage of a unified interface. A game changer would be ESPN being ONLY available via an app or some sort of exclusivity like that. This isn't that.
Earlier this week, CEO of Microsoft Greater China, Alain Crozier, told China Daily that the company is ready to roll out a version of Windows 10 with extra security features demanded by China's government.
It should come with a Dalai Lama desktop pic that can't be changed. Or maybe a rotation with the Tianammen square guy and the tanks. Yeah, that's it.
...is if they have a stolen iPhone how do they know whom to text to try and phish the credentials? If the phone's locked it's not like they have access to the owner's information, nor to the MEI. What am I missing?
...how can Uber a) call the drivers contractors and b) then dissuade them from organizing? Seems like the former would preclude the latter, and the latter would totally negate the former.
As democracy is perfected, the office of the president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.

And now that he's had his 8 year term, people elected Trump.

...what would the US' reaction be if a Russian court wanted data stored on American-based servers?
Yeah.....
Little did we know then that the future of blogging was a world of Jon Katzes.
Sad, but true.
I was expecting more early UIDs to comment on this article. Oh well.
And they were known as "The Bobs" right?
And all of these bloated apps need to be updated, which'll go against either your cellular data cap, or your wifi data cap. It's a racket, for sure.
I was just looking forward to faster page loads and improved battery life because the modem can be powered up for smaller bursts of time.
You'd be better served with an ad-blocker. You won't see faster page loads from that theoretical speed increase.
Not only that, who the fuck ever thought "Shake to undo" was a good, intuitive idea?
You can turn off that stupid doodle shit, I hated it too. http://www.iphonehacks.com/201...
Yeah, but how do you turn off the stupid "commenting" on a text by holding down on it too long?

"Speaking to reporters last week, FCC chairman Ajit Pai hinted that the agency would likely honor those astroturfed comments, nonetheless."
Of course...they support his position.

I still have a GS emulator on my Mac.
hyper access. same software was bundled with windows 9x
HyperTerminal?
I'm sure his name will turn up on the Russian contacts list, especially since he apparently choreographed the whole thing.

Yep. I actually seached cuz I figured someone would have posted it before me.
And don't close your eyes!

Living up to your nickname, eh?

"It is inappropriate -- and unhelpful for a resolution -- that the U.S. has unilaterally hyped up the issue. We express our regret over that.""
They express regret over the US being upset at their actions. Umm, okay.
You mean they haven't stolen the plans for the UUV like they've stolen the plans for everything else?
