BTW, in my experience, the best way to get rid of stupid isn't with age-restricted servers/services, but by simply putting the initials "RP" after the server name. It's exactly the kind of 30-year-old man-child-idiot who thinks they're too cool for an RP server who you want to exclude, and they do it all by themselves!

It's not fool proof, but it does throw them off for a while. The RP server I'm on in WoW is a really great place but over time those kinds of people you describe seem to show up more often then they used to.

How about: Make Windows 7 Starter install 2 gigabytes of Hard Disk space :D

I just made the mistake of reinstalling Vista Home Basic on one of my systems the other day... 15 gigs of disk space to install 8-10 after installation... and nothing more than wordpad/notepad and a few crappy games to show for it.... uhmm I could get most of that with windows 2000 thankyouverymuch... what else do you have to offer me?

Ubuntu 9.04 takes up 2 gigs on my EEE 701 4G with an Office suit on a fresh install. Windows XP took up about 3.3 gigs on the 701 4G that is just the OS and no Office on a fresh install. They'd have their work cut out for them if they tried that. I'm not asking Microsoft to include Office with their OS, but they have a specific bar that has been set with me now. You have 2 gigabytes or less to squeeze a media rich OS and a full featured Office suit in to. The rest of the drive is mine.

I'm not sure her games will work in Vista or 7 either. She won't settle for some other implementation, it has to be the one's she plays which work on XP.

Unlimited is defined for me as having no limit other then what the machine can handle. This means not having some artificial limit imposed by the software vendor when the machine can clearly handle more.

If your doing serious Photoshop and .NET development then you'll want a notebook, not a netbook. With my Netbook I can use terminal services/remote desktop to get to my desktop and run those programs and development environments if I really want to access that stuff.
