    There is a second question. Could this have been avoided if the other car was self-driving? Human error is the primary cause of car accidents.

    The Blade is canted to push everyone into the path of the Harvester. Which collects, grinds and processes the rioters into Soylent, which is then returned to the trailer of the dozer to be fed to the remaining rioters via the high-pressure cannon. Nothing dispels a riot quite like still-warm fresh Soylent.

If we had access to everyone's messages, then you can arrest everyone who sends messages of the type "god be with me".     Ah, I neither have Office 2007, nor do I use the start menu. The Win10 computer is purely for gaming (steam) and Netflix (chrome) both of which are shortcutted to.

  15. I'm not sure the diesel pump is generating electricity to then be used to drive a pump. It may be turning a pump directly, cutting out that electricity conversion.

    I'd like to see the actual questions used to compile this survey. "Have you pirated any movies or TV in the last 12 months" is a different question to "Is illegal downloading or streaming of TV shows and Movies your primary method of watching them?"

    I have a Netflix sub and a Google Play sub, I also pay a TV license. I still download shows that I can't get through legal channels, because I feel I've done my best to obtain them legally.

    Because Slashdot pretty much an advertisement model. You take these news aggregation sites, they're reaching 35+ old white males. So they're pushing out stories based on those tastes. And then they're taking those numbers and they're going to advertising agencies and people are paying numbers based on the audience that they have. So these places are not even based on tech news. The firehose isn't based on tech...

    This whole story makes me think: bumblebees have very primitive, simple brains, with comparatively few neurons (I've heard reports which mention one million)

    This seems to make them perfectly suitable to play the sport of soccer.
