    It really annoys me that we see so many stories claiming that the internet can't cope with this or that, and it will all fall down suddenly without warning. Yet strangely it continues to function as normal.

    The problem is I think, people (and by that I mean non-technical people) think of internet traffic as cars on a street. When there are too many cars there is a traffic jam. With the internet though we can build many many new faster "streets" to cope with the traffic.

    No the issue is that they are only supposed to be in places that are accident black spots, but they have become another form of tax, as on some roads they are every 1/2 mile or so. The hard part is you speand more time watching your speed, that you do actually watching the road.

    It's already happening, there are people who are starting to destroy speed camera's. I have seen quite a few that have been burnt out.

    Thats not quite true, there is indeed a tank that was being developed that used the cameras and lcd's to appear invisible.

    That's very true, I think that the human brain runs at 25Hz, but can process many many many things all at once.

    I think that a photo epileptic fit is caused by lights flashing at the exact same rate as the brain, although I could be wrong there.

    I have both and I am quite happy to keep them apart. I don't want a dishwasher that makes me dinner any more than I want a phone thats battery is dead because I listened to some music.

    Well not true you don't have to use iTunes at all. You can use EphPod to copy tracks to and crucialy from the iPod.

    Agreed, I have found that when testing begins on a project it is only then that a company fully realises the scale of the project.

    The sheer volume of combinations that have to be tested in systems quite often make the project bigger than the team assigned to it.

    In my experience when planning projects there is never ever enough testing and contigancy time.

    Managers just seem to cut it out of plans because clients don't like paying for it.

    That can't be smoke in the picture it is under the light the smoke would have risen. If you compare the before, dureing and after shots you can see that there is very little breeze blowing from the movement of the plants and water.

    If it were smoke then the flash would be quite prolonged for it to move that far.
