Christ I wish someone would cover Baltimore in algae. Walk down the street here and it is a race between the rats, trash, roaches, and junkies as to who gets your corpse.
"and I could land them in the parking lot at work"
No you couldn't. FAA regulations would forbid it (assumption USA), not to mention various state and local ordinances.
Plus your employer would flip. A friend of mine owns his own plane - a Mooney - and works AT AN AIRPORT (Hagerstown, MD)... and his employer still forbids him to fly it to work.
Also keep in mind that 100LL avgas is about $3.45 a gallon average now in the US, and you can only get it at airports.
It isn't just in America that gas is getting more expensive - it is everywhere (Middle East instability + increased demand from China and India).
Hey don;t get too upset at us simply because your Eurotrash gov taxes the bejesus out of your gas tank.

Replace the kerosene with hydrogen or alcohol. However, seems like 10-12 mpg in 1906 wasn't doing too bad! (I could very well be wrong about this - I have no idea what type of mileage contemporary cars got in those days.)
Oh yeah, perhaps upgrade a few other aspects of the thing as well.;-)
Allow me to bitch slap you, edify you about recent Indian history, AND call you a stupid asshole all at the same time...
Rajiv Ghandi, who ruled from 1984-89, was the son of former prime minister Indira Gandhi and grandson of India's first premier Jawaharlal Nehru, who ruled from 1947 until his death in 1964. Sonia Ghandi - his wife - came to political prominence when her husband Rajiv was killed campaigning in 1991 by a Sri Lankan Tamil Tiger suicide bomber.
The rest are just "smears."
That's what I get for actually answering the question.
Silly me.
..but I don't see what the point is.
After trying to post 3 times, I figured I'd post this rant instead.
Dunno about the F-115... but the first *F-117* was delivered in 1982.
...and I stopped trying to make a call within two miles of the place long ago.

One plus is that Baltimore chicks are really hot.
Been around for awhile - I have no idea how it works or what it is used for.
However it pops up alot in MSDN when I am looking for help.
Ultralights are unregulated, that is true - but air space and landing areas are not.
It isn't an impossible dream - but shek out the FAA's take on it.

Is the way to go! If I win the lottery I promise to develop one.
My one year old likes to grab a handful when I am changing his diaper and fling it - preferably at me but anywhere will do.
It comes off the wall quite easily.
I also note that the below poster was correct in (his) assessment of you.

You stupid asshole.
Uh huh.
Quiz: Sonia Ghandia came to power because...
a) she was hot
b) she had great ideas about birth control
c) because her husband Rajiv was killed campaigning in 1991, by a Sri Lankan Tamil Tiger suicide bomber
Hmm?
What makes you think a war would be confined to earth?
For millions of people it's more than a good reason - it is reality.
Well, there are no Arabs there to sell them to they White Man... so maybe everything would be ok. ;-)
Space travel will not allievate overcrowding on earth.
Remember the story about the Chinese all getting in line and marching past a given point and how the line will never end?
There are compelling reasons to explore space - but population control is not one of them.
That's why.
when the Prez rolls around. They don't jam them.

Their religous belief system is far more advanced and THEY convert US.
