    Redhat is one of the few (maybe only but I doubt that) Linux distributions accredited to be deployed on classified DOD networks.

    Opinions aside, this alone is a huge revenue stream.

    It isn't as bad as you say. Stay in hi sec and you will have few problems. You will be bored, but wont have too many issues.

    However, just like in real life, people do get mugged in good neighborhoods.

    calculus, physics, biology, chemistry, quantum mechanics, number theory...

    I don't see alot of these offerings at so called vocational schools.

    I guess this is why many (not all) vocational school student avoid hard engineering and science gigs (if they can get them at all).

    The interview went fine and dandy right up until the hiring manager asked about the math behind laminar air flow, relevent because they are developing software that adapts aircraft flight surfaces in realtime to decrease fuel consumption (for example).

    How many opened retirement accounts? Married citizens? Became citizens for that matter? Very few who are returning home has been my experience.

    Also, I am American, and I will tell you quite frankly that Silicon Valley is the last place in the world I would want to live. It is boring, bland, congested, and expensive as hell. Pretty surroundings tho.

    Let's face it: Obama won the prize simply because he is not a member of the same American political party as Bush is.

    He was nominated for this in FEBRUARY. He held the presidency for less than a month when he was nominated. IIRC for most of that month he was dealing with the economic meltdown.

    He does not deserve this prize. Even the FRENCH are chiding him for being so damn apologist.
