My approach was that I used a fanless Via MB from Mini-ITX which has Tv-OUT. Using that + NFS + Wireless gave me a nice player. However I will admit I haven't got round to installing a remote control..
Sega should really survive as they have produced some great sucesses over the years (Sonic the Hedgehog) and some not so great things (32X + MegaCD). But they never gave up and I have very fond memories of Sonic as a kid even if it was a bit easy:)
Well if they are used in some portable sence how about trying to get some kenetic energy. I remeber a while ago Compaq (as it was then) was playing with the idea of using power from the kayboard to recharge batteries. now that was a good idea

Well this saves on problem of cutting down loads of trees (well to an extent) but I wonder how much energy is needed to produce this. Also is it going to replace getting the daily newspaper on the way to getting on the train? Also what about if it goes flat? Some sort of solar panel prehaps?
You've got to love google. Top of the comment page are adverts for
Popup Killer Ultra Popup Block etc..
Least its nice to know that there are 3rd party blockers as well as the builtin ones into browsers. Only problem I've found is that sometimes it blocks ones where I actually want to view the page. A whitelist would be nice
I would have to disagree slightly. In a mom+pop shop in the high street it is possible for them to see how customers shop and rearrange stock accordingly. Making web pages however is a not as easy. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes less than intuative. This is good example of how not to do things
I don't know about the rest of the EU however the UK has a small claims court system where taking if this comes into law it means that, assuming you can prove the identiy, means that for small amount, you can sue the spammers for their spamming. Which is nice
This is all cool to know but it doesn't help me with my basic problem of not being able to fold paper in a straight line. Prehaps I'm using the wrong type of paper
Microsoft are in this to make money and if that means partnering with someone on one front then fighting them on another they will. Pretty much standard business pratice
Well thats a great link...Anyone got a password/username combination? guest/guest doesn't work. Suppose I could make some joke about quantum probability here but it probably wouldn't happen:)
Is this just mature of translating the basic setup or is there something more fundimental of changing setups so the default is for Germany (phone codes etc?)
This is all nice and everything however are there any sound cards thats can support Full-duplex or more than on channel as even with ALSA just can't getit working
I can just see it now. Sitting on Pluto minding my own business then I see I've got mail saying "Important Information about your Cess Pit" . Means we are going to come up with a totally new set of laws for spam and tele-marketers
This gives a nice HOWTO on suing people who abuse the system. Here in the UK there is a opt-out system in the form of the TPS (Telecomunication Protection System) to stop people doing this sort of thing. Failure to comply get at £10,000 fine. Haven't had one call since signing up:)
Spammers use a variety of tactics to hide themselves including using open proxies, forged email addresses, throw away domain + dialup accounts. The hardest thing I see is actually tying a spam into a particular group/person
I use XFree86 just as a way of having mutliple consoles in a way I like to work. Yeah I could use screen if I wanted. However what about if I want to browse a web page such as my online photo gallery? Also taking performance of any moderm graphics card surely XFree is fast enough in 2D mode
I wouldn't trust them to feed my fish.

You can't help but wonderd if Namco took over Sega if you might get Virtua Fighter vs something.
That would be cool

Makes modding cases easier. Get another box. Bit of cellotape. Go faster spoiler. 50% speed increase :)

Its cool apart from the fact that I would like to be able to white list some sites as some I use need to popup a window for a web GUI
