I just moved into a brand new house last month I had built for me. The pipes in the wall aren't copper... they're PVC, with some kind of transparent rubber tubes connecting them to the fixtures.
Maxthon was originally named myie2, and was basically a way to "skin" Internet Explorer. They have added more features, but they're still using IE under the hood. I used to use Maxthon exclusively before tabbed IE7 came out, but now I use Firefox.:0)
I know, we'll let the majority vote on whether or not we should take the contents from the bigger ships and distribute to the smaller ships... Just the ones catching less than 250,000 fish per year.
My original post was intending to counter your assertion that "College is not important". Of course there are isolated exceptions, but not having a college degree is definitely a hindrance to the most important, highest paid jobs in the country.
I'm not arguing that people that don't go to college aren't smart... I'm saying that a smarter thing to do would be to get a degree and not limit your options.
Yeah, well... the spike is generally shortly after noon. Give it an hour or so and then compare. My guess is that it will still spike, just not as high.
I make $75k+/year, and I have a desk job. I'm only 5 years outside of my MBA. My college debt was $6,000, because I took a full time job at the University and worked my way through the undergrad and MBA taking night classes.
You're seriously saying that a welder is smarter? Tell me, where did his boss go to college? His boss?
My MBA not only got me in the door at this Fortune 100 company, but it got me an extra $25k/year over my coworkers who do the same thing as me without the MBA.
Battery life is an amazing 2.4 seconds, but you can buy an extended battery and extend the life to 1 minute 15 seconds. Or, almost long enough for it to boot up.
I had to get my dad to program the dungeon text adventures, so it wouldn't spoil everything for me. There's just something about typing everything that could happen to you that ruins the game.
I went to vote this morning. When I got to the front of the line, the woman there asked my name. I spelled my last name for her, and she started looking for it. She showed me the voter registration info, pointed at a name, and asked if that was me. It was not. I told her that name was before mine alphabetically, and that I was likely on the next page. When she found my name, all I had to do was sign the form and vote.
I noticed that no one else in any of the other lines was asked to present ID either... How easy it would have been just to name someone. "Yes, I'm John Brown".
There were reports on the radio this morning of a man that was busted voting 4 times. The poll worker recognized him, and counted as he voted, returned to the end of the line, then voted again.
Actually, they would feel pressure to not raise prices. The end result would be that they would lay people off. As Thomas Sowell says, "The real minimum wage is unemployment."
Yes, we in the US should strive to be just like China. Or not...

Yeah, but who wants 3/4 of a Wooly Mammoth? Aren't we at least 98% similar in DNA to earthworms? Let me know when the whole genome is reconstructed. :)
Just wait until she loses the second one. :-)
Sorry... you drop the first one, you lose the right to use one. Can they not just tether it to her? Like a little kid and his mittens?

I'll be happy with "No worse". After all, don't forget that the speed of hardware will dramatically improve before it hits the market.
Not that I've ever used Vista...

He must be campaign advisor to Cmdr Taco...
They only use names like that because "Jill" and "Steve" were taken a LONG time ago.
Jill31923913 and Steve12384238432 @aol would tend to disagree with you... :-)

I much prefer:
10 ? "YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!"
20 ? "AY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!Y"
30 ? "Y!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YA"
40 ? "!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY"
50 GOTO 10

You're on your own for the actual game, but I promise it's out there. It's only 6k zipped.
Why? You can already download a C64 emulator for your chosen platform and use REAL Commodore BASIC.

You know??? For the 13 original colonies? Slashdot's icon is missing a red stripe at the top.
Yeah, but at the end of the day they still live in Canada...

Just have her say someone was making threats against Obama B(iden)...
Or maybe that everything since the 70s was just a big dream...
