    1. They offer you Windows 7 RC free for a year
    2. You download and upgrade your machine
    3. 1 year later, the install expires and you have to purchase Windows 7
    4. Microsoft sells you Windows 7 Basic for $999
    5. Profit!!!

    No no no... If you want to make your system run faster, you have to RAISE the priority of the System Idle process. That way you have faster idling. :-)

    Uhhh... and how is this different from any OS? Windows is 100% compatible with all drivers as long as you write them yourself. Heck, my refrigerator is 100% compatible if I write the drivers myself...
