I'd have to say the Movie I think came closest to it, as far as entire world staged, big guys running the show would have to be Dark City. Very few every heeard of it but those I make watch it seem to agree that Dark City is the Matrix Trilogy compressed into a movie.
I was forced to watch Boondock Saints 2 years ago on divx and when i first heard the name i was like "WTF" but quickly changed my tune. If you liked Snatch/Lock Stock, you'd love this movie. I had to buy the Canadian DVD since it was out there for over a year before we got a release. I don't think it was ever shown in theatres. Has Willem Defoe in it, but it doesnt show up in the bio of him for it in the Spiderman DVD extras. I guess he wasn't proud:(
Then we have Equilibrium, i was forced to settle for VCD quality since it was release in so few places for only maybe a month.(Sadly not a single place near me) I'm waiting for a DVD release date but somethings tells me i shouldnt hold my breath. It's a hybrid between 1984 and Brave New World. It could be argued the fight scenes rival Matrix's in some respects(my friends think they were better). But yea, if you can get a hold of it, check it out. It's worth it.
Even if the company's value becomes "worthless" with $42 billion in cash just sitting around, I'm sure most of the share holders would give MS a few months to come up with another business model, I mean alot of other companies could only wish to have $42 billion to help them reshape/restructure their business model. EU and the DOJ should just cut their losses, stop wasting their citizens tax dollars, and find a way to help fund the competition as opposed to trying to bring down The Man directly.

They can actually predict other things also. When they were running in the mall she was able to have her and Cruise dodge the cops by predicting balloon placement, the need for an umbrella, etc.

I'm thinking this is having the force feedback INCLUDED/built in the controller. MadCatz has always been paying royalties and they have it built in. Sony and MS just got around to it.
They had stated back before Christmas when they were first issued the cease order that in order to play import games,they had to remove/bypass the check that would prevent copied games to be played and for them at least, there was no way around it.

My sys is a homemade 1.4 Athlon, 512 ram, GF3, W2K and it ran like a dream for me in 16x12 mode. The server i played on only had 4 people, (it was hosted at William and Mary, i'm at Rochester Institute of Tech) and i pinged 56. I was pretty impressed, didn't try the sprint mode or move that much cause i was a sniper;)
Under optimal conditions these cards can do 150-200+ fps then when things get a little cpu intensive it will only drop to 80-90, still a comfort zone. If they listened to all these scientsist who really need to not worry about us, and made their cards concentrate on the 72-75 fps mark, the moment things get cpu heavy, we drop to 30 then we get mad and kick the machine. Xcess power and speed is needed to insure a playable game. And for bragging rights:)
Do me a favor and STFU. There is nothing wrong with ripping, there is something wrong with DLing it w/o intention of purchasing it. i own a DVD player and use Windows (dont hurt me:).) And i stll rip MY DVDs and copress them to DivX for sole purpose of me not needing to switch cds unless i absoultely need a special feature. The only reason the legal crap even comes along is when those MPAA/RIAA bastards get on that power trip and want you to buy 2 copies to have them in different places instead of making a copy urself and people who support "media control" like urself support them. The people are always saying "If you break it, you bought it." Well if i buy it i will break\rip\crack it.

The MPAA/RIAA is taking Napster/DeCSS to court for making the things they sell avialable for free. This is basically what other companies do. Linux, Corel and whoever do, they provide the basic things MS does for a 'cheaper' price Xcept MS isn't being a bitch an complaining about it. They seem to not have a problem producing a new Final Fantasy game every 2 years without any problems(disregard the fact they're the #1 purchasers of SGI workstations in the world have 4 major installations ) and each game has got to be much more complex than what Blizzard produces. Now they're(Square) working on 3 FF games and will probably not delay too much on getting them out in a timely sequence. It's not like Blizzard doesn't have the money to higher more people or better resources so they can't use that as an excuse. And despite they're making it for various pc configurations, what they're doing isnt that complex that it would vary too much from pc to pc. I think they're just slacked. Screw this "when its ready" or "lets get it right" crap. I'll download the patches!!! (Disregard the fact im on a cable modem, LPB4Life) It worked for Quake, give us something to play with now till u get the fix later.
