    Fact: Ferrari's are garbage, having owned a 308 they are utter crap with a fancy name tag. Nice technology, but reliability is horrid they are designed for performance not reliability.

    Well if you plan to use the car outside a race track where performance can be appreciated, then you are using the car for the wrong purpose, you can either stop complaining or buy a car reliable for your purpose...

    This guys knows that building what he wants to do will make it work for ages if he does not rely on some GPLed work, so being sure that no one could force him to release the code its top priority...

    Most of the cars here dont have the driving aids like ABS, ESP and the likes. In fact most of the cars don't even have airbags, even new ones.

    Do we have more accidents? I doubt it...

    If you know your car limitations and how it responds to a certain emergency you wont have any problems.

    For the test in the article to be valid IMHO they should ask drivers that are used to drive non aided cars...

    For the numeric control part of your CNC machine you can use the EMC (linuxcnc.com) which is opensource, or you can use Mach3 (artofcnc.com) wich is the paid and much improved version of it for a mere $150, you will receive in support many, MANY times that amount in the 1st months.

    Regarding CAM, there are simple converters from vector art to G-Code such as ACE Converter (http://www.dakeng.com/ace.html).

    For CAD you got the ad supported version of alibre (alibre.com)

    And my last recommendation, goto: cnczone.com and read for hours, there are tons of knowledge there on every aspect of CNC.

    BTW, if you are on a short budget, why not build the machine yourself and save some money for an entry level CAM app?

    Before we get started I want to point out that the agreement with BroadVoice gives you one concurrent connection per account. Although you may be actually able to make concurrent connections (multiple simultanious phone calls) you might incur an extra service charge for the extra connections.

    I browsed the broadvoice site and found no mention about this, which are these costs?

    any idea?

    it has the same processor, the same screen resolution, the same wifi, the same lack of bluetooth (even some th55 have bluetooth in Europe), it does not have a camera and is bulkier in size and in PRICE (about $900).

    Yes it have more memory, but in my th55 y have a 256 Memory Stick pro so, its not a pro nor a con...

    besides this nice OLED display, why would someone spend this kind of money in this unit?

    Clie TH55 does it all except for the price, I own one and is close to perfection, shame on sony for they ridiculous decision of droping the US market...

    The Clie Organizer is the best integrated PIM of the entire palm arena.
    Is not a phone, but if someone develops the app, it could be used as a voip phone
    Integrated flash player, pdf viewer etc.
    Memory Stick pro
    price around $320 new
    battery life is the best of its category (at least 3x the T3)
