The fact is, if the Chinese gov't were to hack into Google, they wouldn't make it so damn obvious. Secondly, after suspicion is squarely put on China, and China vehemently denies it, there is a DDoS attack against those Chinese human rights organizations...for 16 hours. Ok...denial of service for 16 hours....what does this accomplish?
Well, first of all like you said the Chinese government is completely authoritarian, they have a feeling of self entitlement that everyone has to bow to them. Will they get any commerce restriction for these? They already bug the dalai lama office once. Besides it is China, they are not known for their efficiency. And the attack was really well plan and pulled a lot of resources.
The attacks were not that obvious, it took them like a month and many companies to analyse the data. Besides google is gambling a big market, 300 million internet users. Google had a lot of plans for china, like the one for their phone, that they postponed.
I live in China, and that is a lie. Most people dont even believe there is prostitution or homosexuals in china. Even thought it is quite obvious there is, a lot.
. I would still be with my addictive behaviors; womanizing, pornography, stealing, hacking, lieing, manipulating, and fighting.
Since when hacking is a bad thing?
Or pornography?
I will give it you stealing and womanizing. but hacking?
Dude tell us what you did. If it was hacking into a computer, i guess no employer will held that against you, but i think you did something kinky and embarrassing, or just a sent a thread or something stupid from a university.
Just give us a hint, hahahaha.
I dont see to much of a future of Chromium OS, yes google is behind that thing, but linux came first. It will be hard to gain that terrain, and there is BSD. I dont think they are going to be able to bit Windows. And you are going to need internet everywhere you go. Maybe i am wrong but i dont think the current internet connections are fast enought to allow you to access big files over the internet. How about big files like movies?
The only thing i can think of is that their target is netbooks in first world countries, and maybe hoping that in the next 5 years internet connections will speed up, so they can handle that huge amount of data transference.
Having everything in a cloud seems what technology is aiming in the future but it doesnt seems practical for me, at least for the next five years. Maybe with Internet2 (yes i know is mainly for educational and research porpoises)or when everyone uses IPv6.
I use gimp a lot, and it is quite powerfull, but the interface sucks. I dont like having this many floating panels and windows. Inkscape on the other hand is really good. I showed to some illustrator users and they liked. It is simple, light and fast.
i wonder if someday they are going to grow some balls and actually make their own(Microsoft) stuff compatible. Because entourage which is the mac outlook sucks. It cant open pst. It is a pain in the ass to migrate mails from outlook to entourage.

I dont need extra muscle just a healing factor.
Javascript is much fun to debug. Even with firebug it is so hard to find errors sometimes.
It is not designed for security, it is designed for speed. It s main focus is speed, security is second or third.
