In any case, 15 seconds of googling would tell you that the Connect24 feature is the majority of the reason for the 9 watts of consumption. And -- get this -- you can turn it off.
I hate "me too" posts, but, me too. Trying unsuccessfully for an hour the other night to copy a fucking movie to my iPhone pushed me over the edge. I'm counting down the days until my contract is up.
Parent poster was complaining about not having important details, and you just waltz on in here with your "facts". Slashdot is for speculation. Please take your "facts" elsewhere.
Put another way, it's absolutely nothing at all how it is for you now. Your situation is exactly the same as it would be with a VGA cable instead of DisplayPort.
If you're doing well in your business, you won't have time to dick around creating "legal" documents and preparing your own taxes. That's what CPAs, and attorneys are for. If you had hired one of the two, he probably would have advised you to form an LLC rather than an S-Corp. But since you decided you knew better, you made a LOT more work for yourself.
I was going to try to explain to you why you see your competitors' ads, but it's not worth my time. I think I speak for the entire Slashdot community when I ask you to please, for the sake of everyone's sanity, don't touch a computer ever again. Thank you.
I hope that you are also an expert in fixing... cars, plumbing, roofs, TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines; all of which I garauntee will break down at some point if your life.
I've fixed every one of these things at least once, and my primary profession involves none of them. Most of these things aren't rocket science, they just involve a little troubleshooting knowledge, and the guts to try it. If you don't have either, or if your time is more valuable, then you pay someone.
People get overcharged for all of these things every day.
Spoken like someone who has clearly never owned a business.
My post was worded very poorly. What I meant to say was that you have to take your hand off the mouse in order to use Ctrl/Shift+Insert/Delete (assuming you're right handed). This is a pain because for me, selecting text to copy/cut involves using the mouse about 90% of the time.
It's strange because my experience mirrors yours. I never see anyone use Ctrl/Shift+Insert/Delete, and I constantly see people use Ctrl+X/C/V with one hand. Different strokes (literally), I guess.
Am I the only one who hates the shake interface for any action at all? Half the time I don't shake it hard enough, so I have to do it again. And for something like undo, it takes your eyes off what you're trying to do... or undo. I realize there are limited inputs on a device with few hard buttons, but hope there's an alternate way.
Interesting assertion you have there: that the lack of POP3 and IMAP services imply there is no mail server. The lack of POP3 and IMAP services imply -- wait for it -- the lack of POP3 and IMAP servers. Which are completely separate from a mail server.
How many Wiis do you have?

You moved back to Ohio because of a ticket? That must have been a hell of a fine.
And only one of them has the strength to lift a chair, let alone throw it.
You do know that this is completely irrelevant information, right? Escobar was found in 1993.

The fine article makes a lot of bad assumptions. Unfortunately, so does your post.
You sound really angry. You should try a blankie and a nap. Afterward, maybe go back to school so you can get a real job.

Already exists, and called a "continuous shuffler". I can't post a link because Websense is blocking them all.
Or he could take advantage of the prices that Mac owners are willing to pay, sell it, and have enough money to buy three PCs. Worked for me.
Most triple-digiters are likely well into dementia by now, so that might explain it.
Quote Yoda, or quote Yoda not. There is no try to quote Yoda.

Ok, I'll bite. How in the hell is Ctrl/Shift+Insert/Delete better and easier to use? Is it because I can't do it with one hand?
No, it was good. PP is just retarded.
Heh. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rip_Van_Winkle_Caper
Maybe because it's (usually) true.

What would Larry do if he were running Sun? :-)
Hopefully send Schwartz down to the dish room in the cafeteria, where he belongs.
