It seems to me that if the iPhone was over reporting the signal strength before it made AT&T look better than they were. Now people are really going to see how bad AT&T's network is. Maybe this is a plot to get people to switch to the Verizon iPhone rumored for January.
Have you ever heard the phrase, "Love the sinner, hate the sin."?
All the Christians I know (and I know a few) hate sin (the acts) but would welcome all individuals. The problem for many homosexuals is that they let their activity define who they are--no heterosexual adulterer would ever do that. Both are sexual acts, why does the homosexual let their acts define them?
We all struggle with some sort of activity that God considers bad (i.e. sin); why should we wear our sins openly? I don't go around announcing I like to ; no one wants to know anyway.
You told me, but you didn't convince me. People need to be convinced. If an engineer doesn't show faith in his calculations/estimations/conclusions, then you won't convince the leaders of the need to do something differently. Just because an engineer says something doesn't mean others will follow. You need engineering leaders that trust their teams that can communicate the level of risk associated with each path.
At first glance, people respond with, "seems reasonable." But. If you happen to be on the wrong side of a political argument (GM bond holders), then info found on the internet can be used to coerce you so the result matches the government's desired outcome. Don't think it can happen? Ask BP why they so easily agreed to give up $20B.
I propose that MS create a walled-garden version of Windows that will work for 85% (my estimate) of users. Only approved apps can be installed. Could it work?
Seems like karma since they just shafted 3G us users with limited data plans. Now they are getting the shaft over security. Maybe they could appease our anger with unlimited data plans.
Many people consider design of a one-off prototype as engineering, but often real engineering means creating something that can be manufactured, or creating something that can be very reliable, or creating something that can be made cheaply.
I have met many PhD's in engineering that only prefer to make a single working prototype just like they did to get their "engineering" PhD. Sure, the technology is cool, but if the target application requires more than one, what good is it?
Once they make the UI perfectly smooth, then I vote that the work on making the rendering nearly instant. Rendering should be instant, clicking buttons should be instant, typing text should be instant, even when the page hasn't fully loaded.
There are some funds that only invest in companies that are considered moral. If a large fund like this owns Apple stock, then they can influence the stock price (share value). It may be better to leave this issue than to profit from it. Plus, Disney also tries to maintain a pure image--there may be some influence from there as well.

Other than the fact that I'm stuck with AT&T, I really like it.
And I never hear mention of the new, much higher ETF at $350!!!
Great to know, but can I afford to treat it? Knowing I have cancer but being unable to afford treatment just seems like torture.
Why do people just burn stuff they don't need anymore? It create unnecessary pollution.
What is the point of speculating? It would be news if an exploit was in the wild.

Who is this "Yahoo!" that you speak of? Sounds like a real jerk to me.

Why does the government have to get involved if it is a good investment?

You are paying for _access_ to data. You may also pay for the data itself, too. I don't understand what this person wants.
Do you have a job?
I had a physics prof for freshman physics that said you learn more from mistakes. I told him that we must be physics experts by now.
What if those people bought a copy of the DVD?
I really wanted to know if any site are posting my SSN and CC#. Thanks you, Google.

The problem isn't too many college degrees, the problem is too few entrepreneurs.
I knew all that pr0n spam had something real behind it. Now I know the truth without having to "click here".

Maybe, in the Matrix, she wasn't really burned. She only needed to discover the truth that there are no LED's.
