'A high DPI is one thing, but for some that just makes the mouse TOO twitchy. '
I agree that's why I love the MX518 I bought. It has sensitivity buttons above and below the wheel to get the twitch when you need it or precision when that's appropriate, like using a sniper rifle at a distance .

Having the motto 'Do no evil' makes me sure they won't do anything I wouldn't want after listening to my conversation. I know how seriously employees take their mottos, and wouldn't it be evil, to some, not to not take an opportunity to increase investors returns.
'images with more realistic reflections and lighting but, due to performance tradeoffs, few reflective surfaces and light sources.'
I really want this to work at a higher level, 4 cores at 2007 standards and it might with the GPU just controlling the interface of games, if the GPU manufacturers don't respond (please do).
'Since arriving in America, the 30-strong team has had to enlist a local bar to help with its laundry after finding the hotel had no suitable facilities.'..paying special attention to drivers underwear after runs at that speed.
I could be wrong but is it possible this could almost make it worse, if the blade starts to slow but is still moving it would give a much messier, jagged cut which might make re-attachment of fingers etc. a lot more difficult. !RTFA though.
'Only Microsoft has any interest in selling stuff that uses DX10+.'
Yeah I'm sure ATI and nVidia aren't remotely interested in forcing a GPU jupgrade to support the features in the latest games. MS, ATI & nVidia move and the gaming world follows.
'In my day, we had 320x200, and 16 colors. By God, we were thankful for it!'
That would have been amazing, I had a non-standard 640x400, 8 colour machine (NEC APC-3) which was ~80% IBM compatible with 320x200, 4 colours (CGA) when you ran the DOS emulator, but it had a small floppy drive, 5 1/4 " instead of the 8" the previous model had. But my Dads astronomy software was for the native OS so it was better for him than, an IBM compatible CGA machine.
A friend once got told size doesn't matter, it's what you do with your DNA. Yeah..it was a friend...nothing to do with me. I'm lucky if I don't trip over my DNA.
Some bathrooms are datacentres built on this technology, some people I know have beowoulf clusters of beowoulf clusters in the basin. I have contributed very little to the setup but all combined we are building some high tech bacteria. I wonder though, are we at any risk of our virus getting a virus?
Slashdotters losing faith in the dot due to irritating use of popup ads. Of course the average user is only aware of it as Firefox has a little less screen real-estate due to the popup blocker bar at the top of the screen.
Sony should put this in to remove the risk of ending up with betamax with the PS3, especially at that price. The rest of the Blueray squad may not like it though.
The high price for a device that would increase the quality of life of the blind is to me a really good reason for governments to subsidise these for their citizens. I hear americas medical system is expensive and not well supported by government, but Australia has a pretty good record of supporting its citizens medically, this is another opportunity to offer better service than their american counterparts, hopefully america will catch up with their compassion.

Tinfoil should also work against realtime google earth, you just need to get the right angle for the sun.

'Land of the free my ass.' .....I should have put a comma in there somewhere.

But of course they can just track you to your house.
I'm glad Australia takes a few years to take away our rights (DMCA) when the US tells it to.

Yeah I have visions of MS getting bashed to, that's common for visitors of this site.

You'd think between NASA and North Korea we could have had some 4th July fireworks.
