What I want is one of those trolleys you see patients eating off while they are stil in bed in hospital. I use my computer inbed and that's the way I like it. I have been known to spend days in bed just using the computer and playing playstation and I wasn't even sick, just slack.
I take creatine for my gym work outs, and yes I am a geek, and yes I also pull the chicks with my fantastic body. I am fully qualified when I tell people this because I am a pharmacist.
Forget the body odour side effect that's cosmetic and the chicks don't seem to care.
What you do need to know is that creatine need to be cycled. By that I mean take creatine at a recommended dose for a maximum of SIX weeks (ideally only for four weeks), then stop it for two to four weeks. Then you can start taking your creatine again.
What happens is that creatine will retain water in your body, and continued chronic use will lead to kidney failure. Oh yeah people with a history or family history of kidney failure should avoid creatine as well.
I just got myself a Thermaltake Xaser III with the Thermaltake 420W PSU with PFC. The case comes with 7 fans. I'm running a stock heat sink for my P4 2.6C. Granted I only have a GeForce MMX440, but it's damn quiet, a lot quieter than my old dual P5 200MHz MMX, and my new rig stays between 25-30 deg C. Mind you it is winter here and I don't know what the Bribane summer is going to do. And the cost? US$165 for case and PSU.
I do't take caffiene for the simple fact that it interacts with the creatine I take when I work out. That is perhaps something the poster should contemplate. yes I am a geek, but since working out, I feel a lot better mentally, physically and psychologically. Plus the engery you expend will give you a better night's sleep, provided you don't do a heavy work out just before you go to bed and have adre^H^H^H^H epinepherine pumped all through your body.
As an aside, creatine not only gives me energy to perform my exercises, but also retains water which artifically bulks me up:) Caffine would just make me piss all that water out.
what's more in Hongkong, they STILL routinely use bamboo for scaffolding when they are reparing or building structures. I should think that the use it for the skyscrapers however. Bambooo is strong, do doubt about that.

How well would a Formula1 game be? Well I have been watching Formula for only 3 years and I assue the Formula 1 games would basically cars from the current/previous season, and guess what. Formula 1 is dead boring these days. The regulations on tyres, aerodynamics and fobiding ground effects make for unexciting viewing for much of the time. So if a sim was to be as real as possible, it's going to be damn hard to pass other cars if you are usingf a mid field car. Don't get me wrong, there are some exciting manoevuers in Formula 1 but not enough.
MotoGP3 on the other hand, well Namco did a really good job of that!
I am constantly confused by what is bioinformatics. I always thought it was data relating to organisms. That's a pretty damn broad definition of it, however in my experience, using bioinformatics in a search engine rarely gets what I want.
Population pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modelling is a huge field. I have a masters degree in it and as a pharmacist I can tell not a lot of knowlegde in biology is really required (if that is a problem for you). If you want cutting edge stuff there are clinical trail simulations my mentor is working on, which is I guess AI(?)
Needless to say, anything pharmaceutical commands huge amounts of money, so if this is what yo uare looking for, check out names like Lewis Shiner, Stuart Beal, Steve Shafer and Nicholas Holford.
mice/trackballs do I need to install to solve this thing? Alternatively, can I use mouse and keyboard? Ah heck I might as well be playing Counter-strike.
Lan parties? Are you kidding, I want to play some real life counterstrike, and trhow in the scaling down walls and breaking through windows. Oooops here goes the maintenance budget.
