Turning the exploited box into a zombie, ready to DDoS sites, send spam, and a host of other things isn't good. The opinion that 'They're dumb, so they deserve it' isn't valid in a multiuser(multicomputer) environment as the box in question can harm others, not just the luser in question.
Word of mouth would have the same impact.("Don't use X, it's horribly exploitable!"). Hence leading to less use, less buying of that product, and the developers go out of business.
At least, that's how it should work. Right/wrong/naive?
Suppose that spyware compromised a person's PC, which in turn opened the door for more trojans to invade, one of which turned complete control over to Snotty Richter, that pig-fac....er, sorry - got side tracked.
My point is, suppose spyware led to spam-relaying computers. You don't go to spyware-infested sites, but it still affects(or is it effects? My money is on 'affect') you. Same with drugs, etc.
That was from Thief 2 in the 'Life of the Party' mission. Probably the BEST voice acting in the series.

Why is this modded down? Parent has a reasonable point, did not insult anyone....oh wait. I just answered my own question.
Nah, just turn on StickyEyes. Blink 5 times in a row to turn it on.
"I like potatoes!" Potatoes are what *we* eat.
>Nelson just played a looser.
What did he loose?
I'd mod you insightful if I had points.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but how is that any different than su'ing to root?
I first heard 'chillax' on Family Guy, and I thought they made it up. How idiotic.

Bah, nm. Stupid crapfloods.
(btw, anyone else getting a capchta image whether or not they're logged in?)
What low id?
products.shtml is 404, and pistolmouse.com gives the default cPanel information.
A google check shows a monstergecko.com address with similiar content.
Any ideas?
No, and anyone who claims to be SPEWS, or to speak on behalf of SPEWS is lying.
but, I blew my mod points on the Al Gore article. ...And I just posted.
Am I missing something? Why is this rated insightful?
I hope I get the m2 for this one...
No I'm....doesn't!
In Soviet Russia, the moon base builds you.
I see .biz/.info in spam all the time.
Oh damn, I've depressed myself.
Do *we* deserve it?

You can disable those.
IHBT.
Just trying to make a point.

Good riddance...after that Site Finder crap, I don't trust Veri as far as I can walk without getting winded.
..The Trust.
I would prefer goatse and tubgirl compared to the current craptastic TV shows on nowadays...
