west bengal is also communist.. and certain parts like Indian occupied kashmir, bihar, Indian occupied nagaland, indian occupied nepal(western nepal)are lawless
it was a stupid idea in the first place and i give you reasons why 1. 200 was waaaay to expensive. Goto amazon and you will see a mid range mono-chrome ipaq is only $15 with rebate 2. How likely is that a illiterate person will use a computer. Im sorry but there are more importsnt things. 3. The money spent on this could easily feed/educate millions 4. Technologically inferior. It doesnt run palm or windows. Sory but the linux i tried on my hand held wasnt all that great.
sonds like a pocket pc.. i use an old (1999) compaq aero got it for less than $200. Have 32 megs of ram , with an option to get a micor drive (gigs), 70mhz processor, gray scale, nic, modem, and lots of software as well as upgrades from compaq and MS... my handwriting recongition is so good, i have natural writing enabled (which is also free).. i hate to say it but.. ive had it for a few years now..and i expect it to last even longer.. quite a product..
i dotn get it.. are you trying to say.. well carnivore is bad.. but to complain about the agent throwing away the emails would mean that you think we need to stuff.. without carnivore.. there wouldnt be any emails..
hmm as looking at this site
http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/embedded/xp/evalu ation/compare/notlinux.asp
XP embedded vs linux..
and they say this:
"Many OEMs find that to get the functionality they need, they must piece together Linux technology components themselves. Such an approach leaves the OEM to either self-support its "unique" version of Linux, or contract support from the commercial Linux vendor who may have helped build it. This defeats one of the OEM's key objectives in moving to a general purpose operating system--to free up resources from ongoing operating system support and maintenance. This "tie" to a particular Linux vendor, in turn, leaves the OEM exposed to the long-term financial viability of that vendor. Source code access may make the code available, but it does not solve the challenge of finding, keeping and paying for the expertise to maintain it."
i think getting rid of x is a good an logical step. There is no reason for a normal desktop user to have all the features that X provides.
it would result in a serious performance infrease. i think Apple got it right when they implemented OSX without the X windows part. Linux shoudl follow that model.
MAC OSX..
simply the best Unix version for the desktop, the power of unix with the commercial support of windows without the excess baggage. That is one big reason.
even if you arent working on an open source project.. however i can see where some companies would be coming form when they do something like this.. imagine a person working on code at work then coming home and doing the same thing...
it is unfair to the company of course.. and we cant just assume -- like ppl do in/. -- that all code shoud be free...
"... through a sleek silver beaming cube. (I freaked out when I saw one of the cubes at a local Barnes and Noble..."

ok here is the deal:
Tap is a Palm-based wireless project offering male and female animated characters that "learn" tap dancing by taking lessons, practicing, giving recitals and learning from each other. While digital media allows for perfect replication of data, Tap emphasizes the process of repetition with a difference. It treats digital data not only as reproducible packets of information, but as seeds for new ideas that spread and evolve. As an artwork that relies on exchange, learning processes and community, it becomes a metaphor for networked communication itself.

i am curious to know what you would say if this were about republicans doing the same thing.
the fact is democrats are heavily dependent on hollywood for money and in many ways are like the way we say coprs control the republicans
besides it a general practice to say Dems when speaking about democrats.. if you look in cnn, msnbc or other news outlets, they do not list the number of republicans of democrats doing something, they will just say the party name in general. probably intended to save space and get you to read it
Each company has contended that the networks are wholly decentralized, and that the companies could not exert any control over computer users' actions. But the failure of Morpheus' network appeared to indicate that at least one control point existed that would allow part of the network to be shut down.
The RIAA reacted to this development quickly last week.
"We have been saying all along that they control the system, and this proves it," RIAA Senior Vice President Matt Oppenheim said in a statement last week.
