When we moved into our new office we didn't have time to wire our homegrown alarm system; not long after moving one night there was a large rock thrown through the window of the vp's office, luckily all they took was his flatscreen tv, the irony being we had gotten the cable run for that.
Electric cars are not the answer do we really need more coal burning power plants? Bio fuels, hydro, high speed rail, mass transit etc. Detroit has the technology already, the almighty dollar rules. Let's just bike to work.
On ramp and off ramp merging. Regularly travel a four lane highway and it's amazing what people do when merging, in some parts there's 2 lanes to get on the freeway, why people jump on the left on ramp only to hit the brakes is beyond me when they could just use the wide open right lane and merge when it comes to an end, the whole point is doing it smoothly without undue interference to other drivers behind and ahead of you.
