forgive me if I'm wrong, but there is no law that says you have to be born a us citizen to be a governator. As much as I would love to think that Obama is Kenyan I find it pretty hard to believe that not even the donald has turned up proof otherwise. I mean if we can elect a Kenyan to president, then austria can't be far behind.
Though the thought of "I'll be back" as a presidential slogan scares the bajesus out of me. That would be proof that the machines are coming and I don't like that thought a whole lot.

I actually love my Windows 7 machine. I love the OS, I love how all my hardware works. I love how 7 works by getting the hell out of my way and lets me get things done:) I did get my 1st bluescreen on 7 a couple of days ago though. Freaked me right the hell out lol. I had over overclocked my new HD6990 video card and the ATI drivers took down windows. Something I haven't seen on 7 before [and I use it 10+ hours a day 6+ days a week since it was in early beta.] My OS X box has kernel panic'd so many times I stopped counting lol. To me OSX is like windows 98. It works [mostly] but you're not actually physically supprised when it crashes lol. And for some reason it always works better after a reboot. Hope those tablets are better.
I have hated macs well before there where macs, since the days I was forced to use an Apple IIe. My hatred for Jobs does cloud my judgement some but the simple observation I have always said is that Macs were designed for Left handed people. Right brain thinkers. It's for people who like their bottons on the left and a desire to have form over function. Windows users [the ones who actually know how to use a computer] tend to want Function over form and the ability to actually get work done.
That's just me though.
Don't most providers also provide 3G and now 4G usb modems? And don't all if not most tablets have a usb port? If so why get stuck with a 2 year plan when you can have the best of both worlds with 0 lock in?
Only if you call a i7 920 that's been running awesome @ 4.2Ghz since day one. pumping through 12 gigs ddr 3 1600 memory. I just wish something would come out that is worthy of upgrading TO.

I think because Franken was not a lawyer before becoming a politician is why he seems to actually care about what is going on. The rest? They are STILL using sea sparrows? omg. Back in 1982 we fired 5 sea sparrows and of the 5 2 did not launch, 2 want completely off course and the other one missed. NOT exactly a working tech. Plus in 82 we were firing missles from the 60's. Well they do not work. We were then fitted with a Phalanx system which is a R2D2 looking thing that is totally awesome. But this was what, 28 years ago and they are STILL using sea sparrows? Wow I feel sorry for the squids on those boats if they ever need them.

I've been telling my customers for years about how wonderful the hardware that dell uses is. And by wonderful I mean you buy one, hope you get a year out of it, then buy another. I have a stack of Dell/HP/All other junk machine motherboards all with puffed caps. Kind of Makes my job much easier. Customer calls and says thier pc is crashing or wont start. I ask what brand, they say dell, and I know right away what to look for. 2 seconds to open the machine. 2 more seconds to see the puffed caps. 2 minutes explaining why and what happened. 5 minutes later I have a check to build them a new pc. You know. I guess I love dell.
