Last year's #5? Nintendo's Revolution's big thing was being a Gamecube with a motion-sensing controller. In 2005, derided for being underpowered and gimmicky.... yeah, looks like that -really- screwed up Nintendo there. They made a terrible mistake, making a system that out-sold the PS3 (Yeah, yeah, they had more available... still counts!).
Makes me wonder, at the end of 2007, which item from this list will we look back on and say, "Y'know, that really wasn't a bad thing..."
Y'know... if that's where the money I donated to the FSF went... screw them. No more donations. That's like donating money to the United Negro College Fund and finding it went to buy scholarships for upper-class basketball players. A nice gesture, but -so- not what it was intended for.

Between this and the whole 'Snakes on a Plane" fiasco, I think it's time for us to accept that the Internet is not the 'force to be reckoned with' that we all would like it to be, and that 'net geeks, as a whole, aren't cohesive enough to have that much pull when compared to the mundanes.
There's got to be a better way to enact the changes we want.
Okay, so, if it was a top ten... I'd expect to see Doom, Marathon, and Deus Ex on the list... possibly Duke 3D... and I don't know what the last game I'd pick for the list would be. Maybe that's why they kept it to the top five?
Nothing has been 'rolled out' yet! It's been announced that they've decided to roll it out in the future. But is it not currently rolled out, nor is it in the process of rolling out. This is like going back in time a year and saying Vista has been rolled out...

Weren't we all amazingly shocked that Origami wasn't a portable game player, even tho they never said it was? Now we're all shocked that this thing isn't a game player, even though they never said it was? Are we really waiting for their first game player -that- -much- that we keep jumping the gun on it?
Does your phone keep a record of the last X days/weeks worth of calls? I've got my Treo set to keep it's phone log for the last three-four months, and it records everything... calls made, recieved, and missed. Perhaps presenting them with a copy of your log from each phone (Might be difficult, as I don't know of an easy way to export it) would help your case.
What's the point of opening more schools if people have to cheat to get accepted? That's the wrong answer; the reason there's a test isn't to find the best people, it's to find the qualified people. Some people just don't deserve better schooling.
I find myself usng IE7Beta more than I use Firefox... there's only three things about it I don't like.
1) It steal focus whenever a page loads. 2) Doesn't work with Turbotax.com. Won't be a factor again... 3) Somehow, screwed up the 'search' function in Visual C# Express' Help program. Might be a wee bit ingrained into the OS still.
