    100,000 people? You severely overestimate that number. If you see one-fiftieth that number get pissed off enough to stop shopping at CC over this (and I mean people who actually shopped there, not people who never shopped there and now say "Nah, I'm not gonna buy from there now"), I'll be surprised as hell.

    Last year's #5? Nintendo's Revolution's big thing was being a Gamecube with a motion-sensing controller. In 2005, derided for being underpowered and gimmicky. ... yeah, looks like that -really- screwed up Nintendo there. They made a terrible mistake, making a system that out-sold the PS3 (Yeah, yeah, they had more available... still counts!).

    Makes me wonder, at the end of 2007, which item from this list will we look back on and say, "Y'know, that really wasn't a bad thing..."

    Between this and the whole 'Snakes on a Plane" fiasco, I think it's time for us to accept that the Internet is not the 'force to be reckoned with' that we all would like it to be, and that 'net geeks, as a whole, aren't cohesive enough to have that much pull when compared to the mundanes.

    There's got to be a better way to enact the changes we want.

    Does your phone keep a record of the last X days/weeks worth of calls? I've got my Treo set to keep it's phone log for the last three-four months, and it records everything... calls made, recieved, and missed. Perhaps presenting them with a copy of your log from each phone (Might be difficult, as I don't know of an easy way to export it) would help your case.

    I find myself usng IE7Beta more than I use Firefox... there's only three things about it I don't like.

    1) It steal focus whenever a page loads.
    2) Doesn't work with Turbotax.com. Won't be a factor again...
    3) Somehow, screwed up the 'search' function in Visual C# Express' Help program. Might be a wee bit ingrained into the OS still.
