So you're saying people in different countries with different cultures think differently than each other?!
Let others (soverign nations) decide what pornography is to them and don't impose US values on them. Sure a breast seen on TV or in a magazine may be OK in the UK but considered pornographic in Iran, that's how the World works. It also doesn't mean the situation can't change later, maybe in a hundred years the example I gave will be reversed.
Maybe someday there will be an algae tank in every vehicle to process waste of some sort right there, well, not human waste then again RV's could run forever!
All kidding aside I've always liked the idea of biodiesel since I read about it from that Tickel fella of Veggievan fame. I suppose Rudolph Diesel should be given the most credit since he originally planned on using oil crops as the oil source.
I even thought algae would be a great source, the algae in lake Baikal in Russia are supposed to produce a lot of oil.
My point being it has nothing to do with.xxx it's the decesion making process, the pseudo International organization ICANN isn't really that, it's highly US biased. It seems everything that is done is done as seen through the eyes of someone living in the United States, it seems no other country's culture or wishes is really taken seriously.
A Chinese beaurcrat sits in a cubicle farm in front of a monitor. *whirr click click a newspaper arrives via a tube* Newspaper headline: Chinese government censors their version of Wikipedia Beaurocrat: Scratches out headline, "Should read 'Chinese government invents honorable encyclopedia' *toss old version in fire*
I'm amazed at what horrible grammar and spelling passes for normal these days, I'm far from perfect but I try my best.
A relative of mine is has a pretty cushy job in a Tech field but he writes such things as "ware" for "where" and "he doesn't look good" instead of "he can't see very well" (referring to someone's poor eyesight).
It's too bad they didn't really clown around a bit, act like cockroaches, walk into walls, curl up on the floor and go to sleep, do a little dance; perhaps The Robot etc..
And my response to that is you get more mercury from eating fish than you get from a vaccination. Fish won't stop you from getting a virus which may kill you.
Like my Grampa out on the back forty, rocking in his chair, chawing tabaccy, while whittling a branch said, "You put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig."
FYI from what I've read, and experienced first-hand (grrr!), MythTV with VIA chipsets makes for a bad experience. Everyone knows ATI all-in-wonder don't play nice together but VIA seems to be just as bad, especially for anyone new to Linux. Add a Hauppauge TV card (to a system with VIA) and that makes matters worse. The "DMA bug" or whatever it is still seems to plague any VIA based MythTV projects.
Let the brainwashing begin. We're on the edge of the slippery slope.
If you click on Intel's Viiv it's like trying to find out what product an MLM distributor is supposedly selling. Everyone dances around the issue (controlling what you can view on *your* computer) and tries to convince you how good it is without telling you what "it" is or does. Pretty soon we'll pass the point of no return and have Big Brother built into everything we own.
I'd like to see a search comparison between the US and Canada (and other Western nations). I know in the past major stories on such topics as Cuba, Mad Cow and Marijuana were not even mentioned on US TV news or in major newspapers. It's amazing how much your news is controlled, and you probably don't even realize it.
That would be a nasty surprise! You're told you need to have a notebook computer but it isn't mentioned you need to be running Windows or you need to have a certain application installed. Pretty soon you'll need to have a certain colour notebook.
Whatever the needed applications are should be cross platform;Linux, Mac or Windows.

Yup, botulism, the most toxic substance in existence and it's found in the soil under your feet right now.

And yes I do drive a diesel vehicle!

Great, now everyone in the World that uses the Internet has to do what right-wing Christian US politicians say is right. Again.
Keep in mind never confuse (people of the World's) silence with acceptance.
She'll rule the World, crushing all with her giant man hands!

I loved it! Fantastic idea.

"Let's see; closeminded, clueless, ignorant, and an opinionated asshole to boot."
lmao it's ironic you say that.

I'd applaude but the sodium methoxide disolved the flesh of my hands.
If only we had another way, perhaps a numbering system of some sort, giving each person a unique number such as 123-555-1234.
I LOVE YOUUUU MAN!
Oh the shame :P
I mentioned, on another tech news website I won't name, they should be called the Blue Angel rings.
You think that's bad try to buy a Mac without an OS on it!
Or you read a website that has one story about the new Simpson's movie and then the next story is about Neutrinos. ...and OMG Ponies!

Because if you can't see your invisible mobile phone with a dead battery you'll lose it, then you'll have to buy a new one.

Hey that's pretty cool (looks for the digg button to click). We now have robotic mules and tree climbing robots, how soon before a tree climbing mule?
