But say a KDE/GNOME flamewar starts. Those are the kind of comments that are bound to have ALOT of replies, which it obviously wouldn't deserve alot of points for.
Domains are now only web addresses?

Notice how everywhere on their site they refer to domain names as web addresses and nothing else? As if a domain name can point to a webpage only. NSI is sickening. When are we going to be able to use other companies to register domains? And do you all think it's going to be a big pain to try and move your registered domain from NSI to one of those other couple of companies that are going to be providing the same services?
Hm, everyone keeps saying how slow it is. But I have use an older build for a few days on nt 4.0 (at work only! I swear I wouldn't let that near my home computer!), and it was much faster than ie 4.0, and seemed to render everything pretty good. Ok... So maybe since all of you are using linux, mozilla seems slow, but that is fast for nt:)
Haha. Kinda silly, dontcha think? That the whole rest of the website doesn't mention it at all. But there it is, right on the main page in the little Slashdot segment.
I'm in there right now, and these are the big things I see right now. I am gonna reply to this message with a directory listing of the RPMS so that it's not on the main page
I have a server that I would like to put a 2.2.x kernel on, but I am waiting for the 2.2.x series to stop putting out so many patches so quickly.... Will I be waiting a looong time?
I haven't used GNOME yet, but I was using KDE a little bit (FOR MY MOM) But it was waaaaaaaaaay too slow for me. A good gui for a non-tech person though, easy to configure, drag and drop and all that fun stuff. But my question is, how fast is GNOME? And how easy is it to use? And I am pretty sure it looks nicer (As in cooler?) compared to that Win95/CDE kinda look KDE has.
Hey, anyone know alot about Absolute Zero? From what I remember when the temperature reaches Absolute Zero the atoms just stop moving? Anyone have any info on it?

I thought they were using the same source for unix and win32?

Emacs sucks! pico forever!!! :-)
Sorry, but VMWare (1.0 Beta, at least) is waaaaaaaay to slow to be used seriously at this time.

Just wondering...

Q: What is wrong with "Plug and play" concept?
A: Foreplay is missing.
