No more garbage intel GPUs for computers?

It would seem that way, at least to a certain degree. If Intel can't make their prices lower than everyone else via some back-alley 'bundling' then we're not likely to see the same market penetration. Beyond Intel being the inexpensive alternative to far superior chips from Nvidia and ATI, there's no reason to buy an Intel GPU, unless you're some kind of masochist that likes slow tech. x.x

At the great risk to my karma, I guess I have to just pipe up and say that I don't see the problem here.

License-server based apps have been selling on various platforms for years. Decades. Android now supports this, adding a little attraction to developers to invest time and money making an application for use on Android. Given the lack of QA on a great many Android apps (can anyone offer an explanation how Facebook for Android is such pure garbage, all jokes about content aside?) I for one see this as a step in the right direction.

Android developers, you now have a piracy deterrent for your applications you would like monetary compensation for creating, and more importantly, maintaining. I fail to see how this is evil and how any of the wry 'do-no-evil-lol' quips are deserved.

Most any respected University will let you test out of courses, though their guidelines for doing so may differ from one to another.. In my experience, you speak to your admissions person, who talks to your instructor, who lays out what they want from you in order to test out.

You still pay for some (or sometimes, all) of the class, of course; they're not just going to hand credits to the first knowledgeable person that asks politely and can demonstrate what they know, that would make far too much sense for higher academia. But at least you get your credits and don't waste your time.

Personally, I'd love an unfettered 1.5Mbps uplink, though I'd miss some of my 7Mbps down, I only get 768k up. That makes my local FTP server a little sluggish for remote file retrieval, especially if I'm steaming something from my home server to my phone.
