thanks. I read the roadmap and it is very impressive (for a 0.1 release, that is). I guess that when thunderbird 0.1 comes out it will be good enough to replace mozilla mail. What i said before was based on a nightly build that i downloaded to try.
Am i the only one using mozilla mail? I love the spam filter, and after a few tweaking, i can block most of the crap that comes to my inbox. I recently tried the email standalone mozilla thunderbird (aka minotaur) and wasnÂt impressed. Lacks multiple accounts, no bayes spam filter and lots of other nice things found on mozilla mail that are simply not there yet on thunderbird. I hope that they get the thunderbird up to the level of mozilla mail before going thunderbird only. I love mozilla firebird, and hopefully thunderbird will follow the same path as its browser counterpart.
but the old one. the ad-free, non bloat without webservers, chat windows, spam, etc. but i guess i'll have to go back in time to 1996 to see that again.
nowadays i see more and more yong ppl using microsoft messenger (yes, that piece of crap). why? comes preinstalled by default on windows xp and it's a pain to get rid of it.
actually it is a fork of Adabas D, the "relational" db version of Adabas. It never took off or had the same success as Adabas C, which wasn't a rdbm but was quite popular in mainframes.
if theres demand for the codec, then interest will grow. Many subbed animes are already being released in Xvid format. Also, installing xvid is just as easy as installing divx or any other app in windows, given that you d/l a binary package
if MS bundled server and client versions of the OS in one product, MS office suite, firewalls, proxies, webservers, programming languages (lots of them), application development tools, etc, i doubt it would still fit in 1 cd. and btw, redhat comes in three cds, or 6 if you want the source code, not 4
youre right. I thought that if Sun used Jabber its software would have to be GPLed, but that doesnt seem to be the case as it seems there are many "commercial jabber servers" available.
besides the reason uNF cola gave, Jabber also isnt out of the box "LDAP ready". (from what I read, i may be wrong). And LDAP is prerequisite to having a single sign-on implementation.
The Nomad doesn't use compact flash, but smart media flash cards. if you already have a digital camera that uses compact flash cards that makes a lot of difference

I'm amused mostly. I find humans highly entertaining.

i guess that he was referring to the whole "read lotsa docs, recompile kernel, adjust lotsa options, read docs again, build, configure, setup, test...

for writing every detail about the presumably best fighting scene in the movie, thus ruining it.
there should be a "foot in mouth" icon for stories like this...
No, it seems that Mandrake sent the cds for her, as she reviewed the closed apps (opera, java, realplayer) too.
what company is that? lol
probably the same guy that searched item #8 in the list: poopsex vagina donkey acidic_diarrhea...
It will work, but when this procedure is popular, soon some smart company will release a Macrovision, (Macrosound?) or something like that.
I'm not trolling!
I've seen it in MIB, it was the memory eraser!
I saw two guys in black suits using one of these, like, two years ago...
the options are:
pc/linux (divx format)
mac (quicktime)
i bet they must be getting lots of email from angry windows users...
-damn you blizzard, first you go consoles, now linux and mac only?!?! wtf!?!?
> Driving Emotion Type S
hmmm...this one didn't counted, right?
this game is the single best reason why square should never ever try to make racing titles again.
well, Home Alone titles (oh, the pain!) didn't stopped THQ from making games at all...so square will probably keep trying too...
