Assuming the rest of the world's internet growth mirrors that of the U.S. (which I assure you it hasn't), the amount of spam being sent is growing 10x faster than the number of new users coming online.

I was awoken to the most shrill, womanly scream I have ever heard from another man as my roommate threw himself out of his chair and onto the pizza box covered floor.

Apparently while playing Doom II, a "scary monster jumped out of nowhere at [him] and went BLAAAH BLAAAH and started shooting fireballs" (accompanied by amusing bodily motions). We still make fun of his womanly scream to this day. (Sorry Mike, I couldn't resist!!!)

He told me it'd cost a fortune because 1) I would need a plexiglass cutting tool (they wouldn't cut plexiglass as small as I wanted it) and 2) there is only one kind of glue to bond plexiglass and it's very expensive and they don't carry it. Granted this is coming from some random HomeDepot employee who I don't know from god. Is what he said true?

Standard Disclaimer: I REALLY hate Microsoft but...

In all fairness to Microsoft, if they were to include CD burning capabilites and DVD playback (although that may not be as hot of an issue as CD burning), the DoJ would be on them quicker than Jon Katz on a box of Krispy Kremes.

Besides, if you were a Windows user, would you want MS trying to tell you what kinds of data you can and can't copy from your local disk to a CD in the name of copyright protection? I certainly wouldn't... but then again, that's just me.
