Yes. Apple usually does an upgrade of software packed in if it was bought with a machine in the last 6 weeks or so. The webpage should have info up shortly, or call Apple Support. You shouldn't pay more than 20 bucks or so.

I worked for an outsourcer doing HP printer/scanner pre-sales in late 99. We knew this then, and used the trick to impress the new guys. I found it on the net then, not even from an HP site. I'll have to hit the wayback machine to see if I can find the original place.

It must be a slow monday. There is either nothing happening, or this has been in queue for over 6 years, and just got approved. Explains why my stuff never gets approved.

  5. Re:Remember... on Texas Considers Putting RFID Tags in All Cars · · Score: 1

The funny thing is, here in Texas, it is illegal to have anything on your license plate which cover up any of the lettering on it.

Normally, I would agree with this, until an overzealous officer pulled over a buddy of mine for having a frame from his car dealer on his car. It covered the words, "The Lone Star State" at the bottom of the plate. It did not block any of the numbers, or the state name at the top of the plate. Just another law for the police to use when the need something in their pocket, I guess.

Actually, it's code name was "Nitro".

On the Warioware sire (Nintendo's developer portal), there was development for the Gamecube, the GBA, and the "Nitro" shortly after it was first shown.

Also, look at the part numbers on each component. On the Gamecube it is "GCN-XXX". On the GBA, it's "AGB-XXX". On the DS, the code is "NTR-XXX". The easiest way to see is on the game cards, on the back for the generic cart number (NTR-005) and the front sticker for the game-specfic part number (NTR-ASME-USA for Mario 64 DS.)

It was a Strawberry Shortcake comic, showing her spanking another character.

It was designed to parody American McGee, creator of the games "Alice" and the forthcoming "Oz", for taking a children's character (I know they have many levels for adults as well, but let's simplify it for this arguement.) and making it into a Mature - level game.
