I could have sworn this thing was over 2 years old. And poorly reviewed at the time of release. I see these things all over my local computer shops, discounted.
Yes. Apple usually does an upgrade of software packed in if it was bought with a machine in the last 6 weeks or so. The webpage should have info up shortly, or call Apple Support. You shouldn't pay more than 20 bucks or so.
Wow. This is kinda old.

I worked for an outsourcer doing HP printer/scanner pre-sales in late 99. We knew this then, and used the trick to impress the new guys. I found it on the net then, not even from an HP site. I'll have to hit the wayback machine to see if I can find the original place.
It must be a slow monday. There is either nothing happening, or this has been in queue for over 6 years, and just got approved. Explains why my stuff never gets approved.
The funny thing is, here in Texas, it is illegal to have anything on your license plate which cover up any of the lettering on it.
Normally, I would agree with this, until an overzealous officer pulled over a buddy of mine for having a frame from his car dealer on his car. It covered the words, "The Lone Star State" at the bottom of the plate. It did not block any of the numbers, or the state name at the top of the plate. Just another law for the police to use when the need something in their pocket, I guess.
On the Warioware sire (Nintendo's developer portal), there was development for the Gamecube, the GBA, and the "Nitro" shortly after it was first shown.
Also, look at the part numbers on each component. On the Gamecube it is "GCN-XXX". On the GBA, it's "AGB-XXX". On the DS, the code is "NTR-XXX". The easiest way to see is on the game cards, on the back for the generic cart number (NTR-005) and the front sticker for the game-specfic part number (NTR-ASME-USA for Mario 64 DS.)
I've had mine since '96. No change. Not really expecting one. Microsoft has changed TOS so many times that I don't believe anything they ever say or send out in regards to Hotmail.
It was a Strawberry Shortcake comic, showing her spanking another character.
It was designed to parody American McGee, creator of the games "Alice" and the forthcoming "Oz", for taking a children's character (I know they have many levels for adults as well, but let's simplify it for this arguement.) and making it into a Mature - level game.
then they should pay for it. Plain and simple. My office has no idea I have a cell phone number. They know I have a phone, but they are not gonna get the number unless I see part of the bill being paid by them.
I don't know if this part is true, I haven't read the article yet (I know, typical Slashdotter), but if so, doesn't this violate several other federal laws? How the hell does mail have any connection to finances?
SCO is demanding 5$ from everyone who has talked about Linux in the past year, and 75 cents from people who have walked by Linux displays in retail stores.
Be careful what you post. The last thing we need is Nintendo classified as a terrorsit organization.
I agree. The US has lost it's shine, so to speak. The current regime here is responsible for the tranish. It'll take a lot of elbow grease to make the US bright again.
Actually, I use Earthlink, and they don't give a damn. Not in the TOS, and I've had long talks wiht managers and support people there who never brought it up when I mentioned my setup.

Very true. And look at modern games, like Metroid Prime, or Eternal Darkness. Both very interesting games, with female protagonists, that sold very well.
It's not about Male or Female, it's not about graphics, it's about GAMEPLAY. Nintendo got this a logn time ago, and I am glad they did.
(And I get to reply to someone who has my dream job. Always a bonus.)
The headphone jack was too large to physically fit into the case. The headphone adapter is on sale now at Nintendo's site here in the US, or at stores probably Monday/Tuesday with the new Zelda game.
This thing is so small, the volume dial was too large. Went with a slider. No headphone jack should come as no surprise.
BTW, I got mine earlier this week. very nice battery life out of it.
Yes, but the laws give it teeth. Software can cut spam, but more will come, in a never ending cycle. If we make it financially hurt people to send out pure spam, then we don't need to have software that could possible filter out vald mail at a prohibitive cost.
You cut be cut, dried, and microwaved.
Fellow Pitchshifter fan here. Had to interject.

But I think this will be more along the lines of family law, divorces, and criminal defense rather than copyright law, etc.
Not too many people find copyright law and open source law rulings terribly entertaining.
My house was robbed, and the items traded in at Gamestop.
Luckily, the police were on it fast, got the stuff seized, Gamestop fully cooperated. I been going there ever since.
EB, I used to go there all the time. Never again.
I would imagine that if /. was not blocked before this article was posted, it sure is now.

This is the scariest part of it all.
Mod parent up.
Who is this speaking? Who do you represent?

Speaking as a current resident of Garland, and it also being the town I grew up in, this is totally correct.
King of The Hill is not a cartoon, it's a documentary.

Just read it, and I liked it.
Felt kinda bad for the guy, I was in the exact same situation he was in with Lil. Girl I was with, good friend, you see where that goes.
Story got to me, very well written though.

Futurama is a great addition. Now go get Family Guy!
As long as they keep Brak Show, Sealab, and ATAH, they can show "The Animated Adventures of Goatse Guy" the rest of the day for all I care!
From what I am reading other places, the dot codes are done using a proprietary ink. Only this ink can be seen by the reader.
And yeah, I'm a fanboy. Never bought Pokemon cards, but now, I think I might. Nintendo really seems to have hit a gold mine here.
