Some 2016 presidential candidates have not hesitated to label the mishandling of classified information as criminal, with former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee calling Clinton’s actions “beyond outrageously illegal.” Even a New York Times article stated flatly, “Mishandling classified information is a crime.” In fact, in a nod to the complexities of handling classified information, the law criminalizes only violations that are “knowing,” “negligent” or the like. The law falls short, however, in failing to give express protection to knowing releases of classified information by whistleblowers. The Obama administration has used the Espionage Act — a statute meant to target spies and traitors — to prosecute federal employees who revealed waste, fraud and abuse. Judges allowed these cases to go forward even though none of the defendants harmed or intended to harm national security. Comey stated that she was negligent. She has been to college, was a senator from New York, Husband was president, Secretary of State and she bumbled along with numerous unsecured servers and devices that were hacked.

I worked for a Major Aerospace firm, and the entire population of workers from CEO to janitor had to go through ITAR training, and handling classified material. I will guarantee you that I knew more about proper computer security than Hillary did. The tendency for this company training was to inform you what was going to happen to you in case you got sloppy handling secure information. The alternative started with dismissal up to prison. So you were made aware of this upfront. So did Hillary dismiss this training, or was she handing out state secrets for cash? She had her little dog and pony show in front of Congress, but she should be investigated properly for what she did. And Barack should be investigated for hiring this person. The buck stop here applies.

People are forgetting how many people are acquiring knowledge of you on your everyday surf of the internet. They are tracking your every move developing profiles about you and storing them in databases they sell to others so then more people may know about your habits, gender, politics, how many times you have been divorced, the number of children you have, your bank accounts, and even who you vote for. Nobody ever says a word about this. This is all fairly gained by the act of "commerce". Yet if you as an individual were to do this to another individual yourself, you would be found to be a hacker. You could be fined or sent to prison. How did we ever get down this rabbit hole where one set of people could spy on you all they wanted to but an individual would not have the same rights? And people are worried about Kapersky? Where is the laws in this country stating that you cannot track people this way or that a citizen has a right to expect some sort of equal playing field to respect and privacy.

I know people are going to argue that house phone cannot do all the things that a portable phone can do. But I see so many people addicted to these phones like crack addicts. It's really sad. And with the huge market for these devices the price of these devices should be going down instead of up. The quality for all these devices is plus or minus good. Some of you are going to buy the new Apple phones and find out 2 days after warranty it dies and /or you drop it and find out Apple will sell you a new one to replace it, but will price repairing the one you have is going to be so expensive that buying a replacement phone will look good to you. I'm sure they are also making it harder for third party repair people to fix Apple products. Wisdom dictates to buy the phone for your needs, not to see if you can put a dinosaur in a picture or movie you took. Also if it can be repaired. I know will not get through to some people but a bad deal on a phone or contract to buy a phone is still a bad deal.

  12. I'm not a software expert. I'm just an average consumer. Should we trust Kaspersky? I do not know the answer. I'm hoping more enlightened people would know the answer to this. I have to discount what the government position is as there are sanctions against Russia because of political reasons and their [the us] position might be more retaliation than fact. I have not seen any factual evidence from the us or from Kaspersky either. I have had Kaspersky software products on my computer for years and have not had grief from attacks or viruses in all that time. A time or two I have had chance to have trouble and Kaspersky did it's job and protected me. However I know Russians are aggresive on their hacking. Should it be prudent to change or is this an attempt to destroy a company because it is Russian?

My "package" had rate hike creep and went from 65 to 124 in about 5 years. I took just the programming that didn't repeat itself every 6 months. I was with them for about 15 years straight. The programming I did have got worse. The infomercials ruled most of the channels from 10 pm or until dawn. News network repeated themselves after 10 pm. My equipment was so old the time shifted programs filled the drive up fast. I worked 2nd shift most of my life so I came home to infomercials all night long and stale news channels at 124 per month. Not my version of quality programming. So I called them up after 15 years to cut the cable and they called me all kinds of names and kept saying you will be back. I finally found out how you beat them is to trade from dish network to the other one.Every 2 years after your commitment is done drop the one you have and go to the other one.Just be sure you have both dishes on your roof and piped into your house for quick hook up.That way you always get the discounts and new equipment every 2 years. To me it is just a big load of crap anymore. I have the local channels [free] netflix hulu and that's it. I've have now found out my head is not so full of crap from the political news networks and I think a lot clearer. Quality of life is more important to me now that I'm older.
