    Isn't this the same thing they tell us they do with our data? they just collect it all, but outside of official work against terrorists and stuff, they are just holding it and doing nothing with it right?

  5. As someone who has done boot camps before, never a 5 month one, but still, what you learn in them doesn't stick very well because of the accelerated pace. You need to use it as soon as you get out for it to form into long term memories.

    The ISPs should be the ones courting Netflix to put servers in their data centers as a selling point to bring in new customers and to reduce costs for the ISP. That's what would happen if there were real competition, but there isn't.

    If Apple isn't going to allow any other apps or apps stores to be loaded except through their app store, then they shouldn't be allowed to charge any percent. If they allowed other stores and side loading, then it would be fair to charge whatever they wanted. This is basically like saying you can only buy parts and accessories for your car through the dealership.

    Capitalism works great if it's heavily regulated. The businesses on the other hand benefit from being deregulated. Since they have the ability to make unlimited campaign donations... You can imagine how we ended up here.

  16. I found the gameplay to be ok, what made it feel slow at times was how ponderous and slow the character is. Yes that's how people are in real life, but people in real life aren't trying to serve up entertainment.

    Very few. Most people buy a TV because it's a good deal for the size in a big box store. They don't understand any specs except buzzwords like HD, smart, and 4k.

    Did standard deviation increase across the board? If so, wouldn't you just assume that the fixed intelligence teachers have harder classes that allow for more differentiation between students based on intelligence? I find it hard to believe that only minority students grades decreased and not those of white students who are at the same academic level. That should be easy to check by comparing the grade differences based on similar GPAs.

  24. Nvidias problem is I've had my 970 since 2014 and I can only get a moderate upgrade if buy another card in the same price bracket. By now I should be looking at at least double performance for the same price.
