...or don't upload them as photos, or two a photo site. Instead, upload them using a cloud / backup service as data files and the only compression you'll see is lossless.
Don't forget certification in there, which is essentially a 2-4 year college program. Take welding for example. Welding can take up to 4 years (usually 2 if you buckle down) of trade school / community college level work just to get a cert to get a job, you certainly can't get it from hand's on: laws require trade school / university certs. That's just welding, I don't have experience in other fields, but I've heard its the same.
I've seen folks do this, and about 20% of the time they start a successful business (painting, carpentry, plumbing). I guess 20% is reasonable number, 1 in 5 people succeeding as a business owner is a pretty good ratio of competence from the vocational population. Painting tends to fail more because the market is SO damn saturated with people trying to do exactly what you listed.
But I think it's a great idea, just a smidge more complicated.
Although the author set out to analyze the role comments play, I found his objective disposition of woodpecker sightings' impact on environmental fundraising. Almost bordering on cynical, the author does point out the suspicious nature of theses sightings in a way that I'm sure will ruffle the feathers of many set-in-stone environmental saviors.
I think there are two kinds of fans: fans and zealots.
I'm a fan of Apple, but I have no problem criticizing their OS, apps, or philosophy. I want Apple to improve, and grumble when they drag their feet, or, start to follow trends in app/gui design (e.g., i've noticed the menubars of their apps aren't consistent, or that some apps are just fucking retarded: preview and iphoto... wtf?).
Zealots see their choice as infallible. Period.
We both have brand loyalty, but I think the former is more reasoned in their approach. I see the same thing with everything from political parties to musical instruments to woodworking tools...
...about what shows kids are watching today. The only reason I ever found out about "Community" was via hulu. But since I will never (99.99% certain) pay for cable again, looks like my options are down to Netflix and... Netflix. (I'm too stoopid to figure out Torrents, and my DSL is only 1400kbps down.)
Can I restate what you said but a little more clearly?
The candle has higher power density than a person.
Or more specifically...
IB power output (or heat output, same thing) is LESS than SB, but it fluxes out of a smaller die area, so the junction temperature on the lid of the package is higher. The package psi-JC (junction to case heat transfer rate, a physical property) has not improved significantly, so the same heat flux rate from the die, through the lid (and through the heatsink, and through the chassis, and to the environment outside the case) with a higher power density means higher average temperature at the lid.
Sorry, just wanted to word your correct reply a little differently.
This is the most questionable aspect. The globe's diet is largely shaped by industrial agriculture (at least in non-poverty/sustainance living societies). Organic consumers tend to consume differently. Making the assumption that the global diet would remain the same and forcing the organic crop production into this model sorta sets the organic farmer up for failure from the gecko.
...please return to polluting at will, everything is fine. Continue to breed, too. The earth can EASILY hold 1 trillion people who consume at the rate of the typical American.
Looks like Exxon, Shell, Koch Brothers, Limbaugh, Palin, Beck, FOX News, and God were right all along.
Jim Benson's baby, SpaceDev, had the same business plan in the mid-90's. They were players in the X Prize and the NEAR satellite, with custom satellite launches to fund their asteroid mining plan. Sadly, Benson died in the mid-2000's and his dream went too. [But not after I made lots of money trading small fluctuations in SPDV shares for 5 years (paid for my student loans!)]
Of course, he originally claimed there could be cobalt asteroids out there worth a quadrillion dollars. (No citation, but I remember the quadrillion # clearly.)
I really hope this new venture works, I think it is a feasible idea.
Careful there: it is 10,000 of TRAINING. This was originally used in the context of olympic preparation, not programming.
I could sit at home and write code all by myself for 10,000 and still write craptastic useless code.
If the code isn't judged, reviewed, critiqued by someone with far more experience (e.g., a trainer or mentor) who provides metrics of improvement and a training plan to actually get better, then the 10,000 hours spent is utterly meaningless.
What about measuring power in a circuit? All of the design books I've read measure current in Amps then multiply by the suppy voltage. So that's VA, but it is a non-Ohmic circuit, so... is VA still the power requirement... I only ever see VA when talking about transmission line power. How should I measure / compute power of a circuit with a current meter and a volt meter?
That's a fucking dickhead response by your cousin.
Telemarketers are people struggling to find jobs, and telemarketing is bottom-rung job that pays when all other options don't pan out. Being an asshat to someone struggling, when all he needs to do is just hang up or say "not interested" and hang up, is rather puerile.
TSA agents are doing their job. Being a dick to them and making their life suck (even more) just makes it worse for everyone.
If you really don't like telemarketers or the TSA, protest the people that matter: the ones that hire them, or the onese that ignore do-not-call lists, or the ones that make the laws.
But don't fuck with every day people trying to make ends meet by working a shitty job.
*too
dang-nabbit.

And avoid the meth. Oh, god. The meth.
"Hipsters" and "gangstas"? LOL! Oh man, you don't get out much, do you?

I think the emphasis is on the word "came".
...to shoot down a failed missile than a failed missile-defense program?
Like DeBeers and their gemstone cartel of thugs will let this happen.

All of the +ve praise for the Linux desktop comes from... the linux community!
Try asking non-Linux people what they think of it, and maybe you'll get realistic feedback.
LOL

American orphans aren't good enough for her? Pathetic.
Kinda reminds me of Roland following the lines in the Dark Tower series... creepy.
And vastly off topic.

What do they mean by "idling"?
#1 In-game, doing nothing?
#2 Or plugged in but no user input (CPU HALT) but still refreshing the screen buffer?
#3 Or plugged in and in "sleep"?
I doubt #3 (162W idle is HUGE...) I'm guessing #1 because the CPU in both systems would definitely go into a lower C-state....
In which case, I don't think the word idling means what they think it means....
And that's why only a fool would buy a gun that might blow up every 10th round fired.
Enjoy your free STDs.
So it depends on your definition of the word "is"?
Gotcha.
