And I can't imagine why anyone would want this. Convergence is a terrifying concept, moreso than the general Christian idea of effectively being lobotomized once you reach heaven.
Several people here are probably building their own controllers for this right now. And I don't mean building traps to catch people with. I mean sex robots. Or hell, even hooking up. Slashdot has a forum, right? "LFM for Kissing Game", the greatest matchmaking service for nerds since alcohol.
My tip for her would be to sensationalize this until people start paying attention. But I've never watched Canadian news, so I don't know if they're the same level of hyperbole (100%, plus or minus nothing at all, because it's 100% hyperbole).
It's launching in a month and a half, and this was the full build WITH the CryEngine 3 Editor. The Half-Life 2 leak was a much earlier internal build. Plus, Valve had months beforehand to change things and push back the release. They don't need more time to finish the game, because it sounds like the game is done, start to finish. So best case scenario for them is to push the release date much closer and not have enough units.
Your Crysis Crysis jokes were already made. And though I'm against intellectual property, this isn't okay. But what do they mean the copy is unfinished? Are they saying the game hadn't gone gold yet?? Dumb comments will lose them the moral high ground...
Q: How does one balance a budget without bringing in more revenue?
A: Trick question, cutting taxes doesn't bring in more revenue, so there's no answer.
"We have an EXTREMELY functional interstate system for local travel" No, no we do not. The I-5 bridge between Vancouver Washington and Portland Oregon is three lanes wide, each way. It's not functional, and everything gets stopped if there's anything as small as a fender bender if people don't keep moving. We need to build for the future, and Obama is taking the initiative. For how much people like to be doomsayers, they don't like to actually do the things that will avoid problems in the future.
And it DOES NOT need to be faster than a plane to compete. You know why I'd take a bullet train over a plane? Because the bullet train probably won't have insane security measures that accomplish nothing at all.
Well, like, that's just your opinion, man.
I'm also confused as to where people got the idea that Anonymous is anything other than basically the political idea of Anarchy in practice came from. Or that at least a handful of them aren't Black Hat hackers. Or that removing a few kids is going to stop an opt in group where no one else knows you. Or that this was going to be effective. And because I'm unfamiliar with law, is what HBGary did illegal or what?
I dunno, they were pretty bad. I didn't laugh at any of them. Some of them made me think "wow, to date a guy like that she must have low standards, or is an idiot."
Anonymous is anarchy. The political ideology, not the crap hipsters say. Properly motivated they can be a force for good, as evidenced by their help in keeping people in Tunisia connected. And yeah, I don't know what the senior members thing means.
I watched him get interviewed by Bill Maher. Don't get me wrong, Bill Maher is a step short of PETA when it comes to liberal radicalism, but he's not an idiot. The kid did pretty good on the questions, and Bill loves to rip apart people that don't agree with him. So while Levi ain't no genius, he's probably smarter than the combined IQ of the Palins.
Of having too much money for R&D. When you're doing stuff as ridiculous as DARPA, you may need to rethink your objectives. Really, how much money did it take to come up with this nonsense? There's no way a startup company just decided, "Mice? Mice!" unless there was prior research, and research is expensive.
Also, their website isn't very well done. Couldn't really find any important information about them.

I was actually gonna say 4chan could accept it... If they had any leaders to speak of, that is.
And our founding fathers had significant experience with democracy, Libya has not. Your analogy is flawed.

They will sacrifice all the dignity, freedom, and independence that child once had.
So what would I do if they asked for my information??
It's the new old synonym for completely unregulated capitalism!

Ten bucks!? Wow, inflation is crazy!
Suing because your business model is no longer viable won't work in the long run. The same thing happened to newspapers.
Don't like new technology!? Wow, who would've thought. Except for everyone, ever. Duh.

Actually, to that point, I think Michael Cooney is the submitter, as the first two paragraphs is the exact same as the summary.
But seriously, how does this work?
They're not going to blow up anything. People need to stop acting like idiots. Well, on second thought, they might want to blow up something NOW...
