  1. Do Not Want on How Cyborg Tech Could Link the Minds of the World · · Score: 1

And I can't imagine why anyone would want this. Convergence is a terrifying concept, moreso than the general Christian idea of effectively being lobotomized once you reach heaven.

  10. Re:Remember the HL2 leak? on Crysis 2 Leaked Over a Month Before Launch · · Score: 1

It's launching in a month and a half, and this was the full build WITH the CryEngine 3 Editor. The Half-Life 2 leak was a much earlier internal build. Plus, Valve had months beforehand to change things and push back the release. They don't need more time to finish the game, because it sounds like the game is done, start to finish. So best case scenario for them is to push the release date much closer and not have enough units.

Your Crysis Crysis jokes were already made. And though I'm against intellectual property, this isn't okay. But what do they mean the copy is unfinished? Are they saying the game hadn't gone gold yet?? Dumb comments will lose them the moral high ground...

"We have an EXTREMELY functional interstate system for local travel" No, no we do not. The I-5 bridge between Vancouver Washington and Portland Oregon is three lanes wide, each way. It's not functional, and everything gets stopped if there's anything as small as a fender bender if people don't keep moving. We need to build for the future, and Obama is taking the initiative. For how much people like to be doomsayers, they don't like to actually do the things that will avoid problems in the future. And it DOES NOT need to be faster than a plane to compete. You know why I'd take a bullet train over a plane? Because the bullet train probably won't have insane security measures that accomplish nothing at all.

Well, like, that's just your opinion, man. I'm also confused as to where people got the idea that Anonymous is anything other than basically the political idea of Anarchy in practice came from. Or that at least a handful of them aren't Black Hat hackers. Or that removing a few kids is going to stop an opt in group where no one else knows you. Or that this was going to be effective. And because I'm unfamiliar with law, is what HBGary did illegal or what?
