    Laser, yes; radar, you'd probably need a quarter wavelenth thickness of the stuff (1/8'' or so). Which would only work at one frequency.

    I got rid of a 8 foot tall stack of HP & Tek gear a couple weeks ago. Some of it worked, wasn't calibrated or anything.

    I was in both Africa and Germany last summer, and in sunny Germany there were roofs full of PV arrays, while in darkest Africa they were burning kerosene for lights and diesel for their generators.

    Why not just put the PV panels on a roof over the road? Much cheaper, and you don't have to plow snow on the road. Kind of like that rail line in Belgium; they didn't use solar panels as ties for the tracks, did they?

    If they compete against Linux and LibreOffice on price, people will start comparing them. And that's very bad for Microsoft. Right now, you HAVE to buy Windows when you buy a PC, and youSHOULD buy MS Office because, well, it must be better because it costs a lot.

    I give Google a big gold star for bringing a sort-of Linux to the masses. Hopefully, they will kill Microsoft. Then, of course, we'll have to find something to kill Google.
