Maybe if everyone had these, it would lead to smarter intersections.
Traffic lights can be a pain sometimes. How many times have you been the only car stopped at a clear intersection, and the light didn't turn green until the light directing the other road had stopped someone? Being able to control the traffic light at an empty intersection would be nice. Maybe these things could be modified such they only work at certain times of the day when there is little or no traffic. 50 people simeultaniously trying to change the light would only cause havoc.
This shuttle had an Isreali American on board, which generated a lot of press. NASA upped their security for the launch because they feared the threat some sort of terrorist act might be carried out.
How much fucking modification does Duke Nukem Forever need? This is DUKE NUKEM we're talking about. There's no need for it to take six years to be released. They could release this using the Quake 1 engine for all the intended audience cares. As long as there's plenty of gore, juvenile humor and lots of topless women, this thing will sell like mad.
But, starting with 1.0, technical advancement just is no longer the issue for Mozilla. Open Source projects have the proven capacity to nominally pace their commerial counterparts' new features and to do so with a much more sane and better-written approach.
The main focus of the Mozilla project is and always will be software development. It's up to the Mozilla based distributions (Chimera, KMeleon, Phoenix, Netscape, Beonex, etc.) to worry about marketing and distribution.
During the WW2 liberation of Manchuria, American troops were taught that the difference between a Chinese soldier (good) and a Japanese soldier (bad) was that the Chinese were much taller. They were on average, taller than the American troops as well. So there goes the short Chinaman myth.
And a sidenote, one of the NBA's tallest players at 7'6" is Chinese. Yes I realize that the Chinese aren't all seven feet tall, but come on, I'm on a roll with this Chinese aren't short thing.

The sad truth is, many people don't care. The world they see is limited to what goes on in their everyday life. They go to work, come home, do family things, then sleep. As long as nothing interferes with this process, they don't care. Why worry about what's going on in Iraq if it doesn't bother you? I doubt most people would care whether or not we lived by the constitution or under a dictator. Just as long as it doesn't bother their daily schedule, they are happy.
The pledge is totally voluntary, unlike money, where I have to put my hands on God's filthy name every time I make a tranaction. I think our nation's motto "In God We Trust" should be looked into as well.

Well I'm Asian, don't live around any, and I can tell what country an asian person's from just by the way they look. Except North Chinese and Korean, I have problems differentiating between the two.
This has already been done. There's a 3d Action game called Ethnic Cleansing where the objective is to kill as many Jews and Blacks as possible on the streets of New York. A bit extreme, but it's politics nonetheless.
Don't anti-gun sites fall under the "gun site" category?

Looks like something I could watch while I'm waiting for the Red Dwarf movie to come out this winter.

Megadeth's first album cost $4000 to produce. The record company gave them $8000, but the other half was spent on drugs (mainly cocaine).
You haven't experienced Shakespeare until you've read it in its original Klingon.

And I personally know that we are still sending people to Laos to retrieve POWs.
Al Qaeda already has a website. Since I'm an American I'm not allowed to link to it.

This is offtopic, but what the hell.

Just as long as the front end doesn't look like Aqua....
Seeing how the rest of the OS is "borrowed" from Windows, I'm surprised they didn't install the Internet Explorer Skin as the default.
You would give your parents an OS you wouldn't use? C'mon! That's like giving them food you wouldn't eat.
My mom uses NetBSD. l33t!!!
Is the last release before FreeBSD 5?

On the Windows Xp Newsgroup, a guy named Gazwad claims the key was released by himself as a joke.
How is this any different from EMusic, a company that offers entire albums for download at something like $9.99/month?

I don't want to sound arrogant or anything, but well, until your country sets foot on the moon, it belongs to us.

Why aren't they calling this Doom IV? Wasn't Final Doom the third game in the Doom series?
