    Nowadays it is a general purpose computer and a user-tracking device, which happens to have the functionality of making calls. You might want to give more consideration when choosing that kind of tracking device/computer you will carry on you... With WP, YMMV)

    I can confirm this fact (or opinion): that was the same I heard last yeah when travelling to Croatia, which is in the process of integration into EU: prices tend to jump to higher EU level, wages - not so much.

    Same story in Finland:
    they say, a cup of coffee was something around 1.5-2 Finnish marks (before switch to euro), now it's at least 2€ (http://keskustelu.suomi24.fi/t/10766202/mitahan-se-kahvikupponen).
    5-6 times increase...

    I am ok with advertising through duckduckgo.com,
    they provide search services without tracking me, and manage to be financially sustainable.

    Why should browsers be different, and spy on users?

    Simple answer:
    discontinued Internet Explorer.

    Now users need another software to download a different browser,
    and the Mozilla Firefox has heroically taken the place of discontinued IE.

    It actually is.
