You need Quicktime because iTunes uses Quicktime's audio and video playback engines. If you want to add formats to playback (Ogg Vorbis, for example) in either Quicktime or iTunes, you add the plugin to Quicktime's plugins directory
What percentage of the people on MySpace even know what NewsCorp is? I'd wager it's in the single digits, probably less than 5%. One has to remember that most people don't know about the evils of the MPAA, RIAA, NewsCorp, etc, assuming they've even heard of them.
The GCN (Gamecube) controller is mainly used for Virtual Console and GCN games. Supposedly developers can offer support for the GCN controller in Wii games - word has it that Super Smash Brothers: Brawl will have support for the GCN and "Classic" controller.
Actually, a number of PC games do rely on "bad data" on the discs to avoid being copied casually. Software, such as Alcohol 120% and Daemon's (sp?) Tools have methods of getting around these various protections.
That's 256MB of system RAM and 256MB of video RAM. I've been hearing that you can actually use video RAM for system usage and vice versa to make it more like the XBox 360's unified memory architecture, but I have no proof of that.
I liked the approach that Battlefield 2 took to spawning. If you were a member of a squad, your squad leader acted as a mobile spawn point You always spawn with your squad mates, assuming that 1)your squad leader is alive and 2)your squad leader is isn't in a tightly packed vehicle. (Having a squad leader in a jeep or attack plane/helicopter for any length of time is annoying)
Slightly off topic, but quote* Eddie Izzard: "The National Rifle Association says that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps. You can't just stand next to someone and go BANG! You'd have to be pretty dodgey on the heart for that one."
*It might not be an exact quote, but it's pretty close
Just clarify, iTunes lets you rip music to MP3, AAC, and Apple Lossless. You can currently only download music in protected AAC format. (I think Podcasts may be in mp3 format, though I haven't looked into it.)
The crew of pirates and thugs running the White House have demonstrated that they will throw absolutely anyone under the bus for the smallest of reasons.
Hey hey hey, don't sully the name of pirates by comparing them to the Bush administration.
for some reason, all over the world we stopped electing the best and brightest to power and started electing the mentally retarded that have lots of money.
It doesn't seem very nice to insult the retarded by comparing them to politicians.
Well, I certainly wouldn't expect it...

They could always use psDoom as an interface.
We call that the Fox News Channel.

Godwin's law deals with comparing something/somebody to Hitler or Nazis.
Novell? What do they have to do with a story about Red Hat? Freudian slip, perhaps?

Does such a thing even exist?
Yeah, it's called the Core version. However, we don't know how many people bought the Core and hard drive separately.
Dear lord. Coming from somebody who was never phased by goatse, tubgirl, etc, I think I've just been scared for life.
They were gone the next morning; pulled from both the front page and RSS feed.

Correct me if I'm wrong (anybody), but when you buy a PC from Dell, Gateway, etc, the license for that copy of Windows is tied to that PC.
Oh shit! Somebody better tell Kirk Cameron then!

Personally, I'd like to see Address book integration as well. (I know there are hacks to achieve it, but I'd rather get something more official.)
