    What exactly do you mean by "one way compatible instruction sets"? The instruction sets are completely different. Neither chip's instruction set is compatible in any way with the other.

    quite true, but its not the total calorie count that matters in this case.

    Actually, it is the total calorie count that matters. All calories that the body takes in, whether they be from fats, proteins or carbohydrates, have to be converted to glucose before it can be used to power the body's cells.

    If an item is pure glucose.... it would help the power generator... even if it took more calories to digest than it produced.

    That's simply not true. If an item takes more calories to digest than it provides, then it will lower the amount of glucose in the blood.

    God, I hope you don't write software for a living. Making "pretty code," as you say, is a large part of what a good software developer does. Would you tell an engineer designing a bridge: "Maybe instead of making straightforward, easy to understand designs, you should just go ahead an build the fucking bridge"?

    I don't know if this is a US poster or not but there is something called "Theft of property lost mislaid or delivered by mistake." I know this applies to at least most if not all US states. If you knowingly keeps something delivered to you that you didn't order you've stolen it.
    There's a difference between mistakenly delivered, and unsolicited. If the former, someone else's name and address are on the mailing label, in which case it would be stealing to take it. However, if your name and address appear on the label, it is yours to do with as you please, as it was not "delivered by mistake". See Title 39, United States Code, Section 3009.

    "America" is not a continent. Brazil and Canada are not in "America", they are in "South America" and "North America" respectively.

    Additionally, your definition of "the rest of the world" must not include any countries in the Americas besides America. I know several Mexicans, Canadians that would take offense to being called "American".

    I'm sure someone out there knows how to show the build number with / instead of the version number. I don't remember if the version number was displaying at the same time as the build number after the rep. I just distinctly remember the build number and the big smile on his face.

    Just click on the version number in the About box, and it will switch to the build number; click again, and it'll display the serial number.

    Supposedly one could determine which three lines from a dock connection provide the line out signal & run them into a headphone jack.
    If you hold the iPod in your hand, screen towards you, pin 1 is the leftmost pin. Pins 2,3 and 4 are ground, right and left respectively.

    IANAP, but I believe it would pass right through your finger without you even noticing. Remember, as the GP stated, even if you compressed a baseball down to a singularity, it would still only have the mass of a baseball, and its gravity would only pull on other matter as hard as said baseball would.

    Better yet, now that BT 4.0.0 uses GTK instead of wxWidgets (as per the release notes), will this hamper the OS X frontend?

    The OSX client never used wxWidgets in the first place. It's a Cocoa/Python application. Besides, I always use the curses client anyway (very handy to run under screen so that I can check my progress remotely via ssh)

    2. Choose the "Importing" pane
    3. Select "AIFF Encoder" from the "Import Using" popup
    4. Click "OK"
    5. Go to iTunes' Main window
    6. Select your music
    7. Choose "Convert Selection to AIFF" from the "Advanced" menu
