TaxAct a couple of years ago, because Turbo Tax could not properly do the Schedule K I needed.
TaxAct had no problem with it, and it ended up being cheaper anyway. So no big loss here.
What if they don't even use the taser? What if they just pull out the gun and shoot or use a choke hold? Then there's no recording.
Seems like a large loophole to me.
They call me regularly to tell me there's a problem with my Windows computer and they wish to help me.
I really like stringing them along.. Sorry, but my Linux desktop doesn't have a Windows key.
is that while other companies have to prepare for disaster or have an action plan in place in case of disaster, oil companies do not.
Impending hurricane? It might stop production of oil for a day or two, so we have to raise prices in preparation for that. Then even if nothing happens, they don't have to repay that money or put it aside (like any other company). They get to keep that as profit and then the next quarter earnings reports show "a record profit"
It's bullshit. The oil companies should have money put aside for unplanned events (disaster preparedness) just like any other company has to do.
If you search for "Jennifer Lawrence nude" on Google, you get quite a few pictures back (fake I'm sure). So why didn't Jennifer just say "Those are fakes" and be done with it? It's getting more attention than it should simply by her stating that those pictures were real and stolen...
Had she simply stated they were fake, this would have been a non-issue.
If you have any type of social networking account (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, etc...) then you gave up on your privacy long before the NSA had access to anything. Hell 60% of the FB accounts are fake government accounts anyway.
I myself have nothing to hide and the government can read my email, text messages, instant messages, snail mail, all they want.
Let them knock themselves out as I don't care.
They have been reading your personal data for over a decade (Patriot Act saw to that). This is all old news and there's nothing to see here.
There was no TSA (this was in the 80's) and I was an airport police officer.
Had some great times there. They used to have large (7 foot tall) wooden signs that read
"WARNING! - It is a federal crime to even joke about having a gun or bomb"
This was in large letters, and next to the carry on search x-ray machines.
I happen to be standing next to that sign one day and a kid (about 20) said
"Ha ha... Guess what? I have a gun in my bag"...
I replied "Ha ha... Guess what? You're going to jail".
He didn't believe me:)
It may be a criminal offense, but it's a US law, meaning that the US is NOT going to go to India
and do anything. I therefore think that foreign countries should not be allowed to use the DMCA.
And it definitely needs to be changed so that original authors won't be hurt by the fact that the
hosting provider takes their content offline for 14 days.
The DMCA has the right idea, just not the right way to be handled.
"Galactic cosmic radiation poses a significant threat to future astronauts..."
Think of the super powers you'd get when going to those cosmic radiation fields...
That far outweighs the dangers.
According to GlobalSign (one of the largest CA's), they stopped issuing 1024bit keys back in 2010... The lowest encryption they (and most CA's) use now is 2048bits.
https://www.globalsign.com/support/faq/sslfaq.php
All orders placed from November 29th 2010 will only be accepted with a CSR key length of 2048 bits or higher. This is to fully comply with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Recommendations (NIST) and the mandatory requirements by Microsoft's Root Certificate Program to issue Certificates from a minimum of 2048 bits by January 1, 2011.
Maybe it's related to the Y1969 bug:)

to forward this information to the mayor of my small town. Then I found out that he is a retired VP from Verizon. He would simply shitcan the idea.
Why is it always the left testicle and not the right one? Is the left somehow more valuable?

You're of course referring to the this shaking.
Wonder if the judge(s) at the ITC got a free iPhone?
if the proceeds went to the DemoCRAPic party instead...
