When blackboard bought WEB CT, we were all aboard on moving to the blackboard collaboration, till the cost doubled during the planning phase. We went to Moodle rooms for a more cost effective approach.....guess they adopted the Microsoft model, buy everyone that is a competitor and phase them out.
I would hope that they will give the Game devs a heads up before announcing the 720. So they can stop or finish development on 360 games before the announcement. who wants to buy a game for a dying console?

Every one i know that actually has an iPad only wants to read documents not create them (basically what comes through e-mail), the other 95% of the time they use their iPad \ iPhone for video games.
This has left a bad taste in the mouths of current generations, Sony will need 5-10 years to win those customers back if at all. their only hope now is to stay afloat long enough to for people to forget these past atrocities while maintaining the same level of decent hardware. If they continue down the path of alienating its customers, there will be a wikipedia page telling the story of the rise and fall of SONY.
Countries that refuse to buy into the Microsoft "FUD" as you call it, have plenty of jobs paying poor wages, and have a lack of basic 1st world luxuries such as clean drinking water, working sewer systems, and medical facilities. They all cut cost with open source products.
The fact that you are looking in "local paper's Sunday classifieds" sounds as if you out of touch with reality. You have to be willing to travel / move for something as nich as open source. And contract jobs are how you get a foot in the door to show of your skills.
So please take that advise and stay away from the Microsoft Empire, the last thing i need is some snot nosed OSS turd telling me how well "linux could do that better than Microsoft" and only produce Vaporware as proof.
Anti bullying measures? WTF is that supposed to be , a slush fund for political campaigns? Kids need to learn how to deal with bullies not have some one intervene all the time. If your kid killed themselves, then YOU were just a bad parent. And why are you taxing Mature and Adult Only games? these are not meant to be played by your parent-less child. Why should I have to pay for your shitty parenting?

used to love firefox, now its so bloated and non functional, moved on to chrome so they can steal my info, but at a much faster pace.
