You publicly announced that you're blaming the consultant for all the problems caused by the Windows 10 updates. Google some IT sites and you'll notice it's not only you, but the whole world, and the problem is at the source, i.e. Microsoft.
Do you think anyone remotely competent will still want this position?
Isn't it wonderful how MS's quality problems get blamed on the consultant? Whoever posted this ask slashdot should get a big fat bribe from them. If they haven't already got it.
However, their market share will drop sharply when all the other idiots launch their own streaming service since, as it's been said before, people will subscribe to one or two at most.
People have no long term memory, or believe the marketing drones?
Everything Microsoft puts out is made to give an advantage to Windows, even if it seems alternative OS friendly.
Do you think the Linux subsystem is available out of friendliness? On the contrary, it's there so people can migrate their Linux stuff to Windows. I bet there are minor subtle incompatibilities that are easily fixed but then make your stuff windows specific too.
Good move that you finally recognized the need for RAM in a hmm, you called it "Pro" machine? I really hope it will be available without the emoji keyboard.
Now how about making a desktop machine that's actually useful for a developer?
... you're running Windows. But if you're running OS X or Linux for other purposes, you play games but you won't go out of the way to access them, this is a "very nice that it's available" option.
What this announcement mainly shows is that Valve is still looking for options to not be so dependent on Microsoft.
On GSM networks you transfer your number between phones by moving the sim card. So there's no way you can get control of someone else's phone number via just a phone call.
... because if you bought it without going through the reviews first, and that includes not preordering and waiting for the reviews to show up, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. This title had Molyneux or Spore levels of hype, it was 99.5% guaranteed to disappoint. Right now the only company I'd preorder from is CD Projekt Red. For the others, I'll wait for the reviews thank you very much.
Item 1: Most Apple laptops with discrete graphics chips have problems. If they give up on the Iris Pro models, I don't want to know what happens. Item 2: Pretty OLED touch bands are for content consumers (remember that part of the world who is calling Apple users "sheep"? Maybe they were right.). Content producers (programmers, designers, whatever) need physical keys with tactile feedback because they don't look at the fucking keyboard when working.
I switched to Macs from WinTel boxes with Linux on them like 5 years ago. It sounds like it's time to switch back...

The stupid obsession with growth at all costs...

He hopes that... but he has no decision power, i bet. Maybe he's on the next firing list.
This is Oracle that we're talking about, it's more likely they'll let you license ZFS for a couple thousand per month...
... makes your whole brain shrink, right?
Have they checked by renaming the apk etc... ?
... and yet they recommend Agile.
Makes no sense.
Use english if you remember it...
You're giving a serious answer to a sarcastic post you know...

... ready to get my first Nintendo device ever.
Guess it's skip or wait for a few hardware refreshes then.

Maybe in the US, generally people do verify identity in the rest of the world...

... with 'would you like to translate this page?' on every page.
... since they'll use it to spy on me, they should pay me instead.
... why all the recent movies are basically the same thing with slightly different skins?
Here's your answer.

So they'll make the phones as frustrating to use as possible so you can then make them usable by buying level skips from their store?

... now the nothing is in 8K resolution!
... too many promises, they sounded like Peter Molyneux.
And now they're afraid of a public preview video? That says I was right.
If you put it like that yeah, I would be afraid to be an US resident and write code :)
Unfortunately I still remember their patent threats; I don't think it's safe to go anywhere near Microsoft owned source, no matter the licensing.
... be as unreliable as Windows.
Good job, Google.
