I'm sure that if you look close there will be minor differences between the Golf IV of one year and one of one or two years later.
Mostly small things like trim levels, bumpers, lights. It looks the same but someone who knows where to look for can see immediately what year it's from.

One example I know myself was the bmw 320, the 1999 model when it was introduced had it's back lights with orange/red plastic, one or 2 years later the orange of the indicator lights was more a white plastic. Still the same car, same trim levels, ..
The coupe looked similar but on the back it had 2 red reflectors on the bumper which the saloon didn't have.

But indeed I also found that in the usa people pay more attention to what year a car is from (at least what we see here in europe on tv from car chases where the cops say a car is a year - brand - model)
while in Europe people would rather say it's a 'new' or 'old' car.

Well this is about my Outlook to Thunderbird switch, but there is a feature I really miss.

Our provide gives 1 mailbox but with different aliases. With Outlook Express at least I could setup a main identity and a second for my wife, so email we sent was sent under our own name and mail address. Replies came back to the same inbox but that was no problem.

I just don't find how to do this under Thunderbird ?! Yes you can add identities but it doesn't accept it because the inbox on the server is the same. OE was at least that stupid to just take any incoming mail and put it the active identity.

Basically it was the same setup as Cannon Fodder, but ran around with one small man, you could shoot and throw grenades, had several missions to do.. you had an overview and had towards the top of the screen to advance.

We can't communicate with dolphins because we didn't have the need to do so.

If we knew they were trying to tell us a message and they actually tried to get the message across, resources would be made free so we
    could communicate with them..

Communication is 2 ways, you have to make sure
you understand what they say, and they must also
make an effort to be understood and repeat if
    necessary..

What about cats ? Do they say we can't communicate with cats ?
Sorry, I do communicate with my cats.

I don't know everything they say, and they don't
    understand everything I say (I hope :-)
but if they want to send me a message
    (need food/attention/to be alone/go outside/..)
they get the message to me.
And if they do something they shouldn't, I also
make sure they get the message..
So yes to me that's communicating.

And now I'm thinking about it, yes, some
    people can communicate with dolphins.
Dolphin trainers do train them and I assume
they will also learn to interpret the reactions
of the dolphins. They won't understand everything,
and we speak our own languages to communicate
(dolphins won't speak and we won't squeek),
but there is some limited communication.
