  1. WebBug???? on A How-Not-To Guide to Cyber-Extortion · · Score: 1

I think that would be a virus in everyone elses book. One that probably reports in IP addesses everytime he logs in. I guess WebBug sounds better when its in their favor.

A community can't support hardware free so I dont see how that will work unless it is like the earily posters said. Old Ma Bell way.

I always wondered if I would come across this. In the winter my hands dry out pretty bad. I do everything to keep them moist but that just keeps them living. So the cracks and peeling skin I think would give a problem to finger print scanners.

  21. Opensource Patents on Windows XP SP2 Beta Reviewed · · Score: 1, Interesting

After reading the article I thought I would ask the question I thought about for a while. Whey can't we ( The opensource community) patent our ideas. Then we can allow them only of opensource projects. A good example would be the pop up blocker (It probably isn't patentable from proir-art but for argument sake). We could take a good idea and patent so others couldn't use it unless they had a opensource product. We could even fund the patent process with a non-profet orginastion.

Here they say 23% of your jobs will be outsourced. You know way I say "your" because I am moving to management where I will hire India to replace "your" job. If you don't give a shit why should I? $6,000 vs 60,000 will look good to any corporation. But if you could move there and live for $6,000 I bet you would instead of make $0.

I argue this point also. Good point but don't forget that "money = power" or atleast really helps get power. Thats way corporations can buy bills. The only way we can fight it is education which is a hopeless cause do to our current media and school system.

I am saying that our government is letting our jobs leave the country and you're saying?? If you think the US can support (or even protect) the world that's fine. But some of us live in the real world. The only ones making money from giving our jobs away are politicians and corporate execs if you don't think so prove me wrong. Also "but everyone does it" sucks as a argument.
