  1. techies = pirates? on Suppressed Report Shows Pirates Are Good Customers · · Score: 1

I admit I'm a pirate.. Less so these days cause I'm too busy but I am still one. I also go to the movies more than my entire family put together. Maybe it has to do more with people who are into tech tend to be pirates more than "normal" people and tech people tend to go to the movies and buy music more? Course I could just be seeing patterns where there are none.

this is why I took another approach to the problem. I *Taught* my parents how to use the computer correctly AND how to fix the most common problems. Now they only call me when something REALLY freakin weird happens, All because I took the time to teach them what they needed to know. Of course this solution won't help those techies who's friends always call them or those with family that do not want to learn because "it's too complicated" or "I'm not the technichal type". in truth they are too lazy to want to learn.

Now of you are a family of 3-4 you could be looking at 60-75 or more just to see a damn movie! screw that shit, they can keep their theatres, i'll wai tuntil it comes out on DVD.

Well, I've got a report that there's been a fightin' going on between you two tonight.

he had a report of a fight at that location so the officer had every right to ask for ID. If it was just some cop randomly stopping and asking for ID then it would be a different story, but it's not. This guy did it to himself, it is not a case of some cop abusign his power. when you are stopped by a cop you DO NOT have to show ID even if asked UNLESS the cop has probable cause to demand it (i.e. an investigation). in this case the cop did and Hiibel refused thus impeading a lawful invetgiation.
