This is by no means innovative and unique. This sort of challenge/response system to allow one to continue was implemented in many computer games during the 80s. Typically you would be asked to enter a word from a specific page and line in a manual.
DJ Drama (whose real name is Tyree Simmons) and Mr. Cannon were each charged with a felony violation of Georgia's Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organization law(known as RICO) and held on $100,000 bond.
Insightful my arse. These things will FLY of the shelves. People who want these sort of devices have a ton of disposable income. Plus a lot of the cost will get written off against tax for many purchasers.
Just because YOU don't want to pay for it, doesn't mean than many other people don't...
It is entirely irrelevant how this compares the the iPod sales in the first month. The iPod was *creating* the market back then, not moving into a mature and well understood market. A more reasonable comparison would be how well the Zune did versus, say, the 5.5G 30GB iPod.
It simply means that he already issued a sudo command recently, and is still within the authorisation period. He probably said "sudo show me your tits" or something...
Lithium is a metal with a melting point of 453.69 F and a boiling point of 1615F. It is a REACTIVE metal (being one of the alkali metals), but it is definitely not volatile.
1993 quote from Jim Allchin from current Iowa antitrust trial: "This really isn't that hard. If you're going to kill someone, there isn't much reason to get all worked up about it and angry. You just pull the trigger. Any discussions beforehand are a waste of time. We need to smile at Novell while we pull the trigger. There are thousands of documents that show the truth. Microsoft is not just a tough competitor. It's not just an aggressive competitor. It is a competitor who is willing to break the law and commit anticompetitive acts in order to destroy competition."
Because if you did it that way, with the number of questions on a given ballot form it gets very unwieldy. What REALLY needs to happen is the decoupling of trivial local (citywide, countywide) ballots from presidential and congressional ballots. KISS.
But of corse that won't happen as it simplifies the electoral process, and transfers understanding and clarity back to the electorate: something the Dems and Reps both hate...

Bah, old hat! Dedicated fans of Spitting Image will remember the Spitting Image sketch from the 80s in the UK when they had Sir Alistair Burnett do a spot where it was announced that the planet would be called Bumhole (pronounced Byoomhoelay).
"A democracy cannot survive as a permanent form of government. It can last only until its citizens discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world's greatest democratic nations has been 200 years.
Each has been through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith.
From faith to great courage.
From courage to liberty.
From liberty to abundance.
From abundance to complacency.
From complacency to selfishness.
From selfishness to apathy.
From apathy to dependency.
And from dependency back again into bondage."

Numerous mis-spelling and grammatical errors. Why should I trust them to assess an OS correctly?
Me, I'm just glad I don't pay for this bloody nonsense...
