    Also, don't forget, Peter Moore is the man responsible for the endless spew of madden and fifa games with different rosters and no other changes every year.

    You can't fault him as a business man. His business is booming.

    This always clashes the games are art argument for me. I've never heard of a gallery telling an artist what to paint.

    Yet, the COO of EA is trying to tell it's paying customers, "You're wrong!"

    The market is shifting. Gamers, paying gamers are putting out less of their money for AAA titles and spending more on kickstarted indies.

    EA has made missteps over the past year which would have destroyed lesser businesses. The MOHW debacle should have gotten way more press than it did. A couple of months from release, EA fires the executive producer and the game never gets finished. They then have to cut the price in half and refund half for pre-orders just to avoid the blowback. And for SimCity, they decided those sort of gamers won't complain as much as FPS players. Giant set of balls.

    While I understand your 'vote with your wallet' ideals, it's not realistic in this culture.

    Adam's #dealwithit hash tag is really the nail in the coffin for his career.

    There are dozens of valid concerns with this. Least of which is server crashes.

    Members of the military commonly have consoles on deployment in FOBs and other bases. They don't always have an Internet connection.

    Many younger console owners travel with their console to a friend's house.

    Many console owners just don't have Internet access. But they do have access to the gamestop down the street.

    You can't do it anymore because they implemented search so you can just start typing for what you want and eliminate all those numbered steps. So old fashioned.

    I use Windows 8. I rarely ever see metro.

    I find it useless and frustrating. Not because I think it's poorly designed. But because it's forced on the wrong device. My PC is not a tablet.

    most poor people end up working a hell of a lot harder than "non-poor". Falling under the poverty line and living paycheck to paycheck doesn't mean you're not poor.

    My data is safe. They are obligated by law to provide me notice if they're gonna shut down.

    which, for the poor, this type of business is useful and helpful. So it must be an attack on the poor.

    Regardless of if you can gamble at an Internet cafe, the business serves other uses.

    It's like banning car rental places because some people use cars to commit crimes.

    Keep is tied directly to docs and drive. So, your data isn't going anywhere.

    I just redid this test and I always think the same thing. The flac sounds more alive and less recorded.

    It ain't so for most humans.

    My hearing actually is better though. I can hear a wider range than 20-20k

    I can hear bats at night. I can hear ultrasound tests on my abdomen. So, yes it matters to me. Try listening to Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah" in 320k vs flac.

    My headphones go up to 80k. My sound cards can't go above 18K. The difference is all in the high range though. Most people will be able to tell the difference.

    Now, being digital, it no longer matters. If it touches, it talks.

    That's not a bad idea.

    But what could possibly be bad about random strangers walking around with cameras attached to their heads which take pictures and instantly upload them to google? Google is building a security camera network made of meat.

    Should I tackle your brand of lunacy?

    * Apps need a standard user interface way to exit. Really.

    So you want them all to work the same way and look the same way?

    * Locking the Nexus homescreen to portrait is idiotic. Really.

    Which Nexus? My Nexus 7 isn't locked in portrait. Not since 4.2.1

    * MTP looks great on paper, in practice it is dog slow and buggy. Back to the drawing board please.

    It's done this way to provide a standard for all devices to be treated the same way regardless of software suite.

    * Maps crashes all the time. Surely you know that. Fix it.

    Not on any of the 5 android devices I've owned since my G1. Perhaps it's user error.

    * Pretending that Android is not Linux is intellectually dishonest.

    It uses the Linux kernel, and that's where it ends. All apps run in Dalvik. So it can't run normal Linux binaries.

    * Support for unlocking and root access is still half hearted.

    We have an amazing community who work for free on their own devices. Root and unlocking come soon enough.

    * Android is not a community project. Fix that.

    that's not the law.

    The law says you can't enter a crosswalk if the light is already red.

    It's perfectly legal to proceed through a red light if you're already past the crosswalk.
