Dude, calm down. Maybe the choice of words wasn't the most scientific, but if you see the effects of a big earthquake or volcano, it's kind of hard not to see it as damage, whether it is a normal occurance or not. I remember as a kid when Mt. St. Helens blew and completely devastated the surroundings. Sure, over time it will be just a little bump in history, but for the people affected, it's damage. Is this a reason to start jumping up and down and calling people ignorant?
I completely agree with you. It seems like only yesterday I was watching images of the tsunami on every cable cha...hey, Condoleezza Rice just returned from her first overseas visit as Secretary of State!
The Philadelphia Gas Works has the POOREST customer service of any organization I know. They continue to raise rates on those who pay while millions goes uncollected. Everything philly touches turns to shit....
Was it your intention to prove the first poster's point, or can you just not help yourself?
It's not really missing a ports tree. Now there is Darwin Ports which is written, at least in part, by Jordan Hubbard, who also created the ports system on FreeBSD. It uses Tcl as its scripting language, and all the "portfiles", which are similar to the port makefiles on FreeBSD, are written in Tcl. It's fuller featured than FreeBSD's ports, but has far fewer ports available. I personally prefer it over Fink.
Kids still do that, even with the Harry Potter sets. When my eight year old son first got his Potter castle set, he kept it separate from all the other legos. I finally made him combine them all together in one bin. Now he dumps the whole thing out and starts creating his own castles and creatures. The same goes for Bionicles. When he gets a new one, he follows the instructions and creates the one you're "supposed" to. But then he gets bored with that, and after a while, he's making up his own characters, combining them together. I don't think the toys, or the kids, of today are terribly different from those in the 70s. In fact, many of the toys & games they showed are still sold today: Zoids, Transformers, Silly Putty, Operation, GI Joe, Sorry, Clue (they called it Cluedo?!!), and so on.
I don't agree the original direction was nothing special. This is one of my top movies of all time. The songs are great, the acting is great, it's funny, Gene Wilder is incredible. The cinematography could be better, but I think with Burton it's going to be a big, manic special effects fest lacking subtlety. It's wrong, I tell you! Wrong!
You keep telling yourself how funny I am. Meanwhile, I'll leave you alone with that feeling that just won't go away. The feeling that tells you I'm right. Have fun.
Looking at your blog, I can see that you are a New Christian. I pity you. Having grown up as a fundamentalist, I can attest to the unhealthiness growing up with evangelical christian values. You people continue to spew the same tired arguments to "prove" your positions, constantly amazed that people don't see the world the same as you. I know this, because I was once one of you. All it takes is courage to remove the fear that keeps you from thinking rationally. Yes, it takes lots of courage, but it can be done. You can actually be free from christianity, no matter how scary that might sound to you. I thank God every day that I am no longer bound by the chains of delusion. Go forth and be free.

My old housemate Sasha from Moscow used to take a little ethanol from the lab every now and then. One time he made me a meal of mushrooms he'd gathered, which I was afraid to eat, and to drink there was ethanol diluted with a little water and flavored with a pinch of salt. "Too bad we don't have some glycerin to make it smooth" he lamented. He then told me about a friend back home who collected various liquids from the lab, and when there was enough he distilled them into a concoction. "The effect was very unusual", he added.
I think they already know.

Was ALGORE influenced heavily by Algol?
Wow. At long last I believe we have a troll worthy to carry the title.
Last I heard, portage was being "ported" to Solaris. Also, NetBSD's pkgsrc is available for Solaris.
Sure it would work, why not? As long as you had the right permissions, I reckon.
Just a bad attempt at humor on my part. -1, Joking.
What isn't "edgy and stylistic" nowadays?
It's a hoax, people. Release date: April 1st. Sorry to disappoint.
Which is nice on Mac, because it's just there as a tool, not the only game in town.

Top or bottom?

You have that memorized? Or did you find a transcript somewhere?
And how about a nice, low-tech solution to keep those darn sheep from jumping off the cliff: build a fence!
And not only that, but priests don't wear habits. Nuns do.
Were you trying to be funny when you spelld "syllable" rong?
