    yea but by the time I download it, archive it, use my discs .... is it really any less effort than driving to walmart and getting a boxed copy on a stamped disk?

    Opening up Windows explorer, navigating to the steamapps folder then dragging the copied folder of the game I want to re-install from my NAS into the steamapps folder over gigabit ethernet is exactly how more effort than driving somewhere, buying something and installing that from several discs?

    Are you serious?

    Legalizing same sex marriage has absolutely zero impact on anyone other than adult homosexuals who choose to marry their same-sex partner. It will not impact you (assuming you're heterosexual), your church, your own marriage, or anything or anyone else.

    Since this opens up the social benefit of a marriage to same-sex couples it deprives bigots of a reason to feel superior over said couples. Also, if that social benefit is spread to more people bigots probably perceive it as depriving them of something, however moronic that objectively is...

    I'm paying 9.90 EUR a month for 1000 minutes of voice, 1000 SMS and 1GB of 3G data, with 0.04 EUR for every extra minute or SMS (not that I'd ever reach those) and 4 EUR for every following GB...

    With *Windows explorer*, you're kinda confirming what he says.

    It's actually making use of Windows Explorer's WebDAV client, so it should work with pretty much every other WebDAV client as well. Not exactly what I'd call locking in...

    Also, all documents and their versions and metadata are stored as columns in a few tables (no, not one table per library like you would expect - one table for all documents) in SQL Server so writing some code to extract all documents using the regular SQL Server client libraries isn't rocket surgery either.

    Out of interest, what FLACs can you buy commercially and where?

    Off the top of my head:

    Boomkat
    Bleep
    Bandcamp

    They don't have everything as FLACs, but there's loads and loads of stuff (minus the Big 4 mainstream pap) for sale in FLAC (or WAV or ALAC) format.

    Considering that the built-in Android Email app does indeed support push from Exchange servers I think you might want to reevaluate that statement...

    Fuzzy middle ground my ass, it's freeware developed from the ground up and he didn't even make it, he merely linked to it.

    I assume by "freeware developed from the ground up" you mean "an installer and a few download utilities plus a packaged install of Media Player Classic packaged alongside the codec files right out of Real's own installation package" which is what Real Alternative really is/was - immensely useful for the end-user, but a legal minefield waiting to happen by using Real's own codec files in there.

    So right-clicking somewhere in the toolbars to bring up the toolbar context menu and unchecking "Tabs on top" (which I actually like a lot, thankyouverymuch) is too much to ask?

    As much as I love Farbrausch I think cdak by Quite & orange demonstrates that even better - lots and lots of geometry, textures and sound stuffed into a 4k Windows executable (and videos if Windows is not your thing). (Look here for an explanation of how it's done...)
